Does anyone in your real life circle know about your online identity, and if so has it affected their perception of you?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 39 points40 points41 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

My mother is my greatest supporter. She gives me half of my article ideas.

[–]nanbullen5 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I bet you're her special boy.

[–]rule_of_law44 points45 points46 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

When talking to and being around others, how much Red Pill content are you comfortable sharing with them? If I were being asked about marriage, do you think it's wise to give the true reasons for not marrying, or just some bullshit answer like "I haven't found the right woman" or such?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 91 points92 points93 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

I generally self-censor considerably when it comes to red-pill type of knowledge. Not only will they not get it, they'll resent you for it. Not only that, you don't get anything out of the exchange. It's a lose-lose-lose.

[–]rule_of_law34 points35 points36 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

This, I think, is something both supporters an haters of TRP don't understand. You can live by this sub without trying to explain yourself to others. Thanks for answering!

[–]Captain_Crunk_24 points25 points26 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Yeah I've made the mistake of telling co-workers what I believe...

Don't do it

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 37 points38 points39 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, don't get me wrong: it sometimes burps out of me too. You sometimes can't HELP but respond to some stupid assertion, but I generally try to hold back. I have people in my life who are declared enemies because I've blown a few crumbs of TRP into their faces. Almost all of the women have short hair. The dudes talk in lispy, effeminate voices (but claim to be heterosexual). Coincidence?

I agree with this. It's like religion or politics. There's really no "use" to discussing it unless it's with a very very good friend or someone who is super openminded.

People have their own views; they won't be convinced by words. All it will end up being is a frustrating verbal fight. It's not your job to convince anyone.

Just lead by example. One of my friends is in a sexless marriage and always makes jabs at me for the alpha/beta thing. Yet I'm taking home 2 girls every weekend and he gets jealous. I simply tell him, you can't argue with results.

I'll periodically check back on this thread and answer any new questions that I think I can address. I just did a pass now.

[–]Walderschmidt21 points22 points23 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

What is the toughest lesson you had to learn?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 34 points35 points36 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I've been thinking about this one for a while, Wald. It's hard to say, but it's probably being disabused of the pretty myths surrounding women that we're force fed by. Sleeping with girls with boyfriends and husbands, overhearing "nice" girls say the most scandalous things, and all that sort of stuff make you realize there's an enormous gap between what the average blue-piller believes and what guys likes us, through collective experience, have discovered.

[–]jobs33ker22 points23 points24 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'd like to piggyback on that previous question (no homo) and ask what the most scandalous thing you have ever overheard a nice girl say?

Mine was, from a friend of my at-the-time-gf, saying, at a drake concert "I just want him (Drake)...to cum all over my face!!!"

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 39 points40 points41 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Don't worry, my husband thinks I'm hanging out with [Maria]. We have time." It was said to me.

[–][deleted] 20 points21 points22 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

As we have grown considerably we have managed to get some high school age guys here. What advice would you give them that you wish you had when you were that age?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 84 points85 points86 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

"Rejection is better than regret."

[–]TheEyeUrnShaft45 points46 points47 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He who hesitates, masturbates

[–]MahlerNinth7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Great advice. I wish I had known this in high school rather than realizing in my 20s, but better late than never.

[–]dmac15423 points24 points25 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Do you remember the breaking point - the moment that made you swallow the redpill? care to share that moment?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 23 points24 points25 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There was no ONE moment, but definitely stages--events that pushed me further down the rabbit hole.

[–]puaSenator27 points28 points29 points 12 years ago* (10 children) | Copy Link

I feel like TRP is very useful, but I'd like to see more "truths" that aren't just in the sphere of male and female relationships. How would you apply TRP to things such as careers?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 34 points35 points36 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The TRP is applicable everywhere, as far as I'm concerned. I've gotten raises at work, negotiated for a better price at stores, and bonded with old people on the bus with some version of TRP knowledge.

[–]reedrichardsstretch5 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Older men, 60+ are inherently more Red Pill in my experience, especially if they fought in any of the major wars of the later 20th Century. They had no time for bullshit.

[–]darklogic420-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Do you have plans on writing about non-relationship applications of TRP?

[–]TRPcoach-therapist8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

TRP revolves around value. What are you valued for? What are you doing to increase your value? How are you getting compensated for your value?

Directly applicable to a career.

Make sure you show case your value and worth, leverage it for more compensation and benefits. Know your value. Always be increasing your value through self-improvement in your field. Not happy in your field or job, NEXT.

[–]puaSenator5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Oh, I'm very aware that it's applicable to our careers, I use it all the time. I was just hoping for more insight, since most discussions around here are just the same old reminders that women are hypergamous, don't get married, feminism is destroying all that's valuable with masculinity, and how to maintain frame to get laid. I'd like to have some discussions that specifically talk about TRP in a non-sexual context, even though sexual achievement is the bar we use to measure TRP success. Have a conversation related to things other than genders would be interesting in a TRP context.

[–][deleted] -5 points-4 points-3 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I'd just like to add that I believe even companies are somewhat hypergamous. Anyone who went through the shitstorm of the recession in 08/09 knows it on some level. If you happened to be near the bottom of the company then you were the first to get chopped. When the rehiring started all the companies wanted only the best talent to replace the lost employees. If you want to avoid being laid off then do your best to increase your value.

[–]gg_s3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A better example is a loyal employee who gets replaced by a peppy grad who works twice as hard for half the pay. While the axed employee may be disgruntled, he'll soon rationalize the decision as "it's just business."

Female hypergamy is similarly "just business" for her but shocking for the unsuspecting male. These guys interpret a deep human connection, a bond so strong it is impervious to [sexual] market forces. The ease with which women sever this bond is so startling and unbelievable that most beta men find themselves in stubborn denial. It's not unlike a founder being fired by his own company.

[–]TRPcoach-therapist-5 points-4 points-3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree with you, although you're always going to find that since TRP is specifically catered to sexual strategy.

If you'd like to have deeper insight on non-sexual things, you'll have to ask deeper or more specific questions. A general question is going to get a general answer.

[–]Mojammer19 points20 points21 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Any thoughts about reddit as a whole, and the red pill subreddit specifically?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 39 points40 points41 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm not super familiar with Reddit, but it seems like the Wild West of the Internet. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's a little too chaotic for me. This subreddit seems like an oasis in the desert. I'm impressed with how well these guys are holding up (and, indeed, growing).

[–]Captain_Crunk_22 points23 points24 points 12 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Would you rather fuck 100 6's and 7's or one 9?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 79 points80 points81 points 12 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

I'd rather bang the 100 6s. In the long term, the variety wins out.

[–]Captain_Crunk_15 points16 points17 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for answering. I'm a new fan

[–]menina_realista2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

I see people use number ratings quite a bit... in your opinion, what would a 6 and 7 look like? Can you name an example celebrity of each value?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 31 points32 points33 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

6s aren't usually famous.

[–]Bosch20135 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Society only considers famous people attractive because they're repeatedly told they are by people who profit from them being considered attractive. Objectively looking at them, I see women every day whose beauty could stop my heart, and these girls are just average to look at.

I honestly think women want their female celebrities to not be threatening with their beauty, so as to offer aspirational fantasy, so sixes and sevens flourish in entertainment. Above that, and they turn up in movies and media aimed at men.

Off-hand Famous Sixes:

Emma Stone - her masculine 'vocal fry' voice and constant snark guarantee she'll be a five once the wall hits.

Anna Paquin - Great tits, butterface. I guessed she turned 30 this year.

Jennifer Lawrence (Post Haircut) - dropped a point by turning herself into a child care worker on her way to pick up donuts for the office. I'm convinced she'll 'come out' in a few years.

Miley Cyrus (Pre-Ghetto) - Ugly, angular face, even with long hair. No higher than a 4 now with the masculine haircuts and retarded behaviour that made me accurately predict she'd be dumped by Hemsworth, since he had options.

Jennifer Aniston in the 90's - A girl next door is simply comfort food for unadventurous betas. Never understood why Pitt ended up with her to begin with, but knew he'd trade up. Heading into 5 territory simply by the female-driven media constantly trying to use her as proof you can be sexy as a divorcee in your forties, so I rate her even lower out of annoyance with this crap.

Gwynneth Paltrow - Ditto. Wall hit her hard, but she was no more than a six to start with.

Sandra Bullock - never more than a 6.

I guarantee most women would argue that they're all 'beautiful'.

[–]_MrMan_0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Eh Aniston and Bullock looked good in the 90s. Never liked the others.

I agree though that there are better looking women walking around every day than most celebs, and models even.

[–]7r1993rWarn1n9-2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree though that there are better looking women walking around every day than most celebs, and models even.

Same here. More than once I've heard guys talk about running into some famous model or some other female celebrity and being genuinely surprised "she was just another girl!". Yes, a very attractive girl, but one no better than the talent you can usually find by just walking down a crowded sidewalk. What were you expecting?

[–]IIHotelYorba0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Damn dude. I think you may be pretty on point about Jennifer Lawrence. Never thought of it that way.

[–]cooledcannon-3 points-2 points-1 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Those seem way higher than 6.

[–]Senior Contributorwhiskey_bearfist-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

agree with all but jen lawrence. she may be a 6 face, but that body is quite a bit better than the 6s i run into in bars, shops, etc. maybe i have some racial bias. i love dark haired girls with fair skin and a sprinkling of freckles.

rest of it is on point. especially aniston.

[–]Strangeclouds420-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Miley Cyrus could get the cock from me. No commitment. It's no way the sex wouldn't be objectively wild. However, a visit to the gym would do her some justice.

[–]MSoftHarem25 points26 points27 points 12 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Tuth - Great articles. I'm sure you wrote them with your tongue firmly in your cheek and never expected this sort of response. What have you learned about your detractors? Why do you think people went so quickly to demanding censorship and even violence as... justice?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 64 points65 points66 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I've learned that certain demographics aren't accustomed to being criticized.

[–]MSoftHarem24 points25 points26 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

That's a nice way of putting it, and no, they certainly are not. I guess ROK/TRP and the manosphere in general are starting to become a threat to the feminist social narrative. About god damn time.

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 49 points50 points51 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

It's not just "feminists" per se, it's threatening to a series of orthodoxies. There's huge incentive in keeping men sedated, distracted, and emasculated. This is an apolitical desire. A lot of groups have something to gain.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You can go all the way up and say that the leaders of the world would prefer to keep men sedated and easily controlled.

[–]throwwhatthere0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If you want to really imagine an interesting development, translate the manosphere into Chinese. What will happen when all the systems of control on China's 50 million excess males break down. Most predict war, at the very least revolution.

[+]TheEyeUrnShaft-14 points-13 points-12 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Do you think this is necessarily a bad thing? I think we need those emasculated men to pay for our bastard children. As pathetic as they are, society needs slaves.

[–]Mr_Mori 1 points1 points1 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

All men deserve a chance to gain control of themselves and their lives.

Your 'bastardized' children are nothing but your lack of insight into 'wrapping it', and, until changes occur, will be your financial strain in the end.

TRP isn't here to screw over Betas, they already do a pretty good job of that themselves, albeit not always knowingly.

[–]TheEyeUrnShaft-3 points-2 points-1 points 12 years ago* [recovered] (0 children) | Copy Link

Your 'bastardized' children are nothing but your lack of insight into 'wrapping it', and, until changes occur, will be your financial strain in the end.

Incorrect. It is a sexual strategy where you intentionally impregnate an already married with children woman, who has way too much to lose by revealing an affair. You father a child, she gets good genes, the beta pays for it. You pick a woman with a husband who she sees as a better provider than you could ever be.

TRP isn't here to screw over Betas

TRP is merely a strategic toolbox. What we use that for is up to us, and that means we can choose to screw over betas. I highly recommend you read Sperm Wars to get a better grasp on reality.

[–]Katoska23 points24 points25 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Not really a question but I'd like to say I enjoy your writing, keep it up!

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks. Appreciate the support.

[–]GuideGhost 14 points14 points14 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Not so much a question as a comment.

I've witnessed a lot of feminist "I'm offended!" witch hunts pop up over the last little while. One notable example was the TofuTofu "Above The Game" Kickstarter that got exposed by a white knight, and the feminists and their manginas threw a tantrum at Kickstarter. The press seized on the story, taking quotes out of context and labeling it a "rape manual".

It ended like we all knew it would end: Kickstarter caved to their every whim, called it "abhorent", and donated a bunch of money to some charity. What were they supposed to do? Even if the people in charge of Kickstarter were anti-feminist by nature, doing anything but giving in is political suicide in this icky, icky politically correct world we live in.

The best thing about the outrage that popped up over your "5 reasons to date a girl with an eating disorder" article was that there was no one to complain to. Your publisher was already about as redpill and it gets. It was like watching a hornets' nest get punched with a remote-controlled robot.

Anyway, you're doing god's work. Carry on.

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 12 points13 points14 points 12 years ago* [recovered] (0 children) | Copy Link

It is interesting that their solution was to try to "take it down." In fact, they haven't completely given up on their crusade.

I'm really impressed at how well the power establishment has convinced a significant percentage of young people that "taking action" is hitting the keyboard, collecting signatures, or having a quiet protest.

If the OCCUPY movement and the Google+ incident hasn't taught them the lesson that that shit doesn't work, I doubt this will.

[–]Endorsed Contributorgekkozorz13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I've lost my best friend to a single mother. Recently he started dating a woman several years older than him. She has two kids, and he spends basically all his time taking care of them. I almost never see him anymore.

How do you deal with it when people in your life make this kind of terrible decision? Do you try to get them on track, or do you just let them live their own life and pick their own destiny?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 29 points30 points31 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Nah. People like that are too far removed. The best you can do is use the power of subtle suggestion, but the odds are like 1:1,000 that that'll have any salutary benefit.

[–]SpaceDog777-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I have to disagree with that, if we arn't willing to put our balls on the line and try to save your best mate from a shit situation then we aren't any better than women.

[–][deleted] 30 points31 points32 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

When guys have a girl, they aren't going to listen and might even get pissed with you. They can only see clarity after having their heart ripped out a a few times.

[–]Katoska4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lost a group of 'friends' to this. The guy is a beta, being played around by his girl, and I called her out on it. She plays the victim card, and now I suddenly have devil horns or something. Gotta let people fall alone sometimes, or they'll drag you down with em.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

i agree. I have a friend like this who seems hopelessly blue pill..i was debating sending him many eyeopening/thought confirming red pill articles i had read fearing that he would be offended when i made the decision that I care more about his ownership of his balls than i do about the state of our friendship. hope he gets it

Been reading ROK since day 1, great stuff by the way.

It's hard to pick a single favorite. I had a nice exchange with the girl who made the first response video to my Eating Disorders article. At a certain point, we were trading messages embedded in the lyrics of angsty music videos. I was hitting her with Alanis Morissette and she hit me with Taylor Swift. I thought that was pretty funny.

Ha, "brah." Definitely not in the United States. Brazil or Eastern Europe is what first comes to mind, but I haven't spent a lot of time thinking about it.

I thought shit like this was just a joke. Downvote me into oblivion for saying this, but fuck it here goes.

I think the thought off writing off entire countries or regions of the world for potential life partners is completely absurd and i will even go so far to say it is not red-pilll behavior. I believe that a true red-pill man would not let cultural stereotypes and generalized experiences limit his choice of partner that greatly. I am new to red pill, but i thought it was the man's obligation to control undesirable behavior by being able to display masculine traits while being able to understand the desires of a female. Sure some sloots will always be sloots, but to say that all 175 million American women are beyond redemption simply because of the country they were born in is absolutely ridiculous. A red pill man should not be this close minded.

Well, looks like I'm just a little late to the party. Still, thanks for taking the time to do this - I found it rather educational.

If you're still hanging around - one question I'd like you to answer if you don't mind - are there any RP concepts you don't really agree with?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I've officially signed off, but I'll swing by a few times and answer any new, worthwhile questions.

The manosphere/RP is a diverse community. I don't think we subscribe to party-line, groupthink model, so the answer is yes--but that's the case for everyone. There are some general principles that we all believe, but there's nuance and diversity in our ideas. Part of the strength of the community is our ability to discuss them without dismissing each other. One of my criticisms of the so-called American "left" (though I'm equally critical of the "right") is that they pretend to be tolerant and open-minded but are, in fact, some of the most intolerant people on the planet--who will try to RUIN someone for merely not agreeing with their views.

One semi-popular aspect of the manosphere/RP that I don't agree with is this resolutely anti-government, anti-regulation sentiment. I think there's value in regulation. I don't want the safety of my meat or water left to the "free hand of the market."

[–]MahlerNinth9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Do you see mentalities such as the red pill or men's rights eventually turning into a larger-scale movement some time in the next 20 years, especially if women continue to enjoy various special privileges in terms of employment, education/college admission, and legal processes (divorce)?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 28 points29 points30 points 12 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

I don't see THE RED PILL (in capital letters) becoming larger-scale per se. What I see is figures and ideas from this community seeping into the larger consciousness. We're already seeing that. It doesn't take much more than another 10 or 15 percent of men to be this aware for it to make a major difference overall. It's like a traffic jam. It's been proven that only removing 10 percent of the cars would make the traffic flow smoothly.

[–]thegman8424 points25 points26 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I completely agree with this sentiment.

I think we're already beginning to see feminism crumble a bit. Prime example, just the other day I overheard two college girls on the bus bitching about how much they hate their Women's Literature class because it was "Feminist Indoctrination 101". One of them said she hates it when people assume she's a feminist just because she's a woman in college.

You know what

since PUA became somewhat "mainstream" I still haven't seen an increase in competition, in fact the opposite. I've seen a lot more emasculated dudes.

Of the dudes I know who peruse PUA material, they're fucking keyboard jockeys. They talk a big game but refuse to have the courage to put themselves in a situation where they could fail - i.e actually talking to a real girl.

so I very much doubt this will change your world that much. Its like fitness - sure, fitness culture is bigger than ever, more dudes are using steroids than ever - but obesity is higher than ever before to the contrary.

The vast majority of people are still going to be losers.

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 12 points13 points14 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I use condoms most of the time. I'm what you'd call a "reluctant raw-dogger." While I succumb from time to time, I use an elaborate alchemy to ascertain my risks.

I switch it up on where I bust. I'm partial to the lower back.

[–]RedSunBlue3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

How many slut flags does a girl need to fly before you disqualify her from a raw dogging?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's an imperfect metric, but it all comes down to two things:

  1. Does she have something to lose (status, money)?
  2. How "clean" does she seem?

Slut tells are definitely useful for the second but, honestly, the first can take care of both.

[–]rule_of_law-2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

What do you consider to be the manosphere's biggest weaknesses going forward?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think there are few things we should AVOID, if we want to maximize our impact and continue to provide a community for men:

  1. Association with one single issue (so-called "men's rights") or misclassification (PUAs or MRAs).

  2. Too close association with a single political direction, since the community is largely pan-political. I don't think it benefits us to be labeled as (strictly) "conservative," "libertarian," or even "progressive."

  3. Focusing too much on "fighting feminism" (and thereby getting associated as just their mortal enemies and nothing more) instead of stating broader goals and disseminating ideas.

  4. Giving autistic, unintelligent, angry dudes a prominent role or platform.

  5. Sounding too race-focused.

  6. At the same time, sounding too intellectualized or proto-academic. We should strive for a conversational, accessible tone that's manly, but intelligent. That scares the shit out of them.

[–]Sub8male0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Many in the community stress having an abundance mentality. It is truly important to have this mentality to eliminate neediness and get quality women. However, This can be quite frustrating or difficult for many men with limited options. The limited results they see are destroyed by their lack of options, reinforcing the negative view they have. What is your advise to people who are stuck in the scarcity mindset to get themselves out of that way of thinking?

[–]TRPcoach-therapist4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Is this question about you? If so, I recommend you own it. Don't ask a general question, ask a specific one. TRP is about becoming accountable to yourself. This is actually a crucial step in changing your experience.

You've already highlighted the issue. Let me rephrase something for you so you can see it clearer.

The limited results they see are destroyed by their lack of options, reinforcing the negative view they have.

I get limited results, but I ignore them and focus on my negative thoughts. It's easier for me to focus on the excuses and reasons instead of to keep moving forward with every approach and interaction.

With the goal of shifting your negative thoughts, change your goals to something that you can not fail at and requires you to move forward without attachment to outcome. Stop looking for positive interactions and focus on interactions.

Quality women are rare, you're going to go through a lot of crap. Stop making it mean something about you.

I have. It's gone well--certainly above average--but the quality isn't usually the best. Online dating is, to paraphrase a forum member, a good way to fill up your calendar. You're not going to find the mother of your children there. That said, I have stumbled on a couple of winners.

Think of an online-dating site like a "vintage" (second-hand) store. There are a few gems, but you have to pick through bin after bin of dusty, overpriced, and out-of-style garbage.

Hello Tut,

Growing up I was a huge Tom Leykis fan and he was the person that opened my eyes and helped me swallow the red pill. Are you a fan of his? If so are some of your beliefs based on his teachings?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago* [recovered] (0 children) | Copy Link

I have mixed feelings about Leykis. I'm familiar with him because I know people who are huge fans of his. Overall, I like his message, but I find that--at least until recently--a lot of his ideas were sort of Red Pill 1.0. They were in desperate need of newer insights that men in the manosphere have advanced. He also leans a little too Men's Rights for me at times. That said, I like his show and think he does important work for young men today.

[–]throwwhatthere-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I know in my blue pill days I was really turned off from red pill ideas by the fact that PUAs were the only people visibly presenting any of them. I, being interested in LTRs (family, Alpha Wolf aspirations) was unable to relate, and I think this caused me to waste a few years.

What would you say about ways to make our message more accessible to blue pills who aren't only looking for pump and dump?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm a firm believer that we can only model behavior and have them seek out our methods. I also find that certain purple-pill statements can sneak through. Blue pillers tend to listen to women--with whom we tend to be persuasive--so I think that could be an entry point.

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

For as long as I can remember (which is like the 8th grade), I strove to write in a conversational, but pungent, tone. I'm fond of combining slang with formal writing, and making silly analogies. It got me in trouble when I was a kid, but I kept it up. The biggest contributor to my writing style was probably keeping a journal, though.

[–]_MrMan_-3 points-2 points-1 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's how I wrote as a young buck too. Some teachers loved it and some hated it. I always believed in writing in a down to earth way. Not to just pile a bunch of big words together to confuse people and sound smart. I'd throw some of that in to keep em on their toes, but I've always enjoyed a to the point, shootin the shit, funny style.

who's popping in next, Dalrock?

[–]Modredpillschool-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hey Rollo- I tried to get in touch with you regarding your new book. Can you drop me an email at [email protected]

[–]selfsufficientnigga0 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

If a girl "friend zones" a guy, why is it her fault?

'Friend zoning' is not 'not answering to the guy's romantic interest because you were not aware of it', friend zoning is recognizing that someone has a romantic interest in you, and continuing using that as a resource (i.e. 'this guy can be used as an emotional tampon when I get dumped by guys who fuck me') just because you can.

Do you think that is an acceptable thing?

Also, we all understand that you are angry. But it is not TheRedPill's fault; you admit yourself in your comments that you have social anxiety and you fuck up even things like talking to someone you like. If you are so bad at social stuff, why do you take it to assume you understand social dynamics better than everyone here?

I understand the knee-jerk reaction, when the magic trick is explained it stops being magic, and you want to live in a nice world that matches your ideals, not a dog-eats-dog world, but please, don't just go with that knee-jerk reaction, observe the facts, think and think critically.

You are not wishing to learn, your questions are just a vehicle for your judgement. That will not help you.

What's the second hardest lesson you've had to learn?

Have you encountered any women who understand our position / plight and agree with us in a general sense?

[–]Returnofkings.comrok_tuthmosis[S] 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't see it as a "plight," since that's victimization narrative, but I find girls who agree with me/us all the time. I'm also persuasive. I don't blast them with Red Pill acronyms and invective. I use the Socratic Method.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Regarding my use of "plight" you are absolutely correct about it implying victimization. It was a bad choice of words on my part and I should have known better...my bad.

(I asked if he knew any RP women)

Yes. They tend to be attractive and interesting. I was in a long-term relationship with a girl who qualifies for at least PINK pill, if not fully red.

can you give advice to this nice lesbian: /r/TheRedPill/comments/1snmyf/i_am_a_woman_who_would_like_to_embrace_the_red/

I am a woman who would like to embrace the red pill

by pony1108

As a lesbian in a relationship with another woman who has overrun me, I welcome the opportunity to learn from you all on how to regain control in regards to other women. I completely feel for you/the men in this subreddit, and agree with almost everything you say. I have seen a lot of TRP posts from men that say their lives have been changed and that is exactly what I am really hoping to get out of this. I was once "an alpha" female, but am now definitely a beta. I have come across an especially cunning woman, who won me over with her gorgeous spanish ass, titties, overall body, thick mahogany black curly hair and that exotic sex-freak vibe. Now, I am nothing but a jelly-fish who cant assert her own place. The manipulative monster has perfectly wrapped me around her finger, even giving me sex only at her own whim. I know if I regained the game and control that I entered this relationship with, I could bring this woman back to her place and to worship me like she used to instead of having me wrapped around her pinky. I hope that the change is near!

EDIT: WOW was not expecting the quality of advice I received from you guys! MANY THANKS! It was especially unexpected that I came here thinking it wouldn't be well received that 1) I am a woman and 2) that I'm a lesbian. Once again you guys are freaking great, I feel that every single thing written here already put me on a good path to changing things around!

You are given 2 options. which would you choose:

A: A 6 that is in love with you, will meet you every friday and does whatever you want, but no threesome and you don't get to fuck another girl that day.

B: You can go out on Friday

I don't go out most Fridays anyway. Still, settling down with a 6 sounds terrible.

You're familiar with the concept of ceteris paribus?

[–]freemale101-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So do you think Red Pill males should call out their own Mothers? Should they complain that many Mothers expect their born sons to be work slaves for the owners and sex slaves for the Pussy?

And finally, do males owe their mothers anything? And if so, what exactly?

[–]CptConfused-1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What is "love"? Is it possible to be in an ltr and be redpill?

I can't trust a woman after swallowing the redpill, so what of my next generation?

How do you suppose the men left in TBP world, who are slaves to their logic of experience (hindered by emotions), will be convinced of TRP without any solid scientific evidence/consensus?

And what does the world look like when TRP is mainstream?

How to give redpill advice to random guys in a situation? Is it a good or bad idea to advertise trp to random MRAish guys on the internet?
