Finding fulfilment in an indifferent and violent world is a philosophical challenge that has existed for millennia. Its the essential question that all philosophers have asked. Camus even stated that the most important question in philosophy is whether or not to kill oneself. Existentialism and absurdism spring from this absence of meaning - as do all religions.

The Red Pill is a practical philosophy centered on the idea of becoming the best man you can be and living your life to the fullest. Be it through exercise, success at work or with women, travel, etc. But at its core - no philosophy has been designed yet that can quench your existential thirst.

Fuck women, lift weights, make money... or don't. Monks and priests choose lifestyles of celibacy and poverty for the same reasons we choose to lift and get laid - the need for meaning and fulfilment.

tl:dr - You are asking a question that every human being for the last five thousand years (or longer) has asked. How to find fulfilment. Ultimately, the answer will be different for each person and no one can answer it for you - if there is an answer at all.

Stoicism is the final frontier of TRP.

All things in this world are ephemeral. You cannot hold them. Cannot possess them. Enjoy your time with them, but realize there is no "prize" at the end. Time itself, the journey, is the only reward.

Are we to be bachelors our entire lives? Are we to love the beast, to understand the beast, and yet, prevent the beast from taking over our lives? I keep turning down beautiful woman after beautiful woman, never committing. We keep talking about TRP theory, ways to understand women, ways to show their true shitty nature, but what’s next after this? Living a lonely bachelor life of consistent pussy? Though it sounds wonderful, will this shit not get old?

Attempting to see the world for what it is attracted me to the ideas found in forums such as these. Ultimately however, The Red Pill, in its current form, is fatally flawed, and I'll explain why.

The Red Pill prides itself on seeing the world for what it really is and being in line with men's nature. We lift, we seek success in our interests in hobbies, we go after attractive women. The Red Pill is all about living in line with our nature and recognizing the nature of women, but many if not a vast majority here sound like they reject one of the most natural roles there is for a man: fatherhood.

Each man reading this owes his own nature to the DNA he inherited through birth, and any birth requires a father. Within us are genes that encourage us to look after our own young. Men who forego fatherhood end up missing out on cornerstone experiences of life: holding their newborns, then watching and helping them grow into honorable men and women. To end your days surrounded by not just your children but grandchildren as well, and to see them successful, varied, and strong are achievements that will outlast any hobby or skills that will die with you on this Earth.

To understand men, we must understand people, and that demands an acceptance that we are tribal creatures. Thomas Hobbes was of course wrong that in a state of nature men would live lives that are solitary; we know from a study of human evolution that we come from ape-like ancestors, that we are tribal and so are our cousin species. To live lives perpetually alone, having sex with new partners all the time when for the vast majority of humanity's existence this was socially shunned or impossible due to a lack of readily available birth control, these are not natural lives we are living then.

To live the most fulfilled life I can, I do many things. I stay in shape, as we are animals and are meant to exert ourselves, not live in chairs and cubicles. I not only socialize but accept my own cultural and biological identities as we are tribal creatures. But I also work steadily towards moving my current relationship into a happy marriage that will produce and rear children who will grow into strong and capable adult sons and daughters. My relationship has only gotten stronger over the span of its three years, as my role as leader in the relationship is happily accepted. Both my girlfriend and I are always looking for ways to improve ourselves and our relationships in both short- and long-term ways. We share our bedrock political, religious, and social views. We cultivate friendships with those of similar outlooks. The result is a human living: a tribalist living.

You can become an objectively impressive individual, one that would be readily labeled as "alpha" by anyone who's opinion you'd respect. But remember, it's easy to think of yourself as first when you make yourself the only one in your tribe.

Be men. Be fathers. Take the risk.

Great post. I swallowed the pill a long time ago if you look at my actions, even though I'd never heard of TRP until pretty recently. Basically found out my girl was cheating when we were 19. I put up with so much bullshit, against the advice of my own father, but when I found out she cheated I finally snapped. Broke up with her and went no contact. I spent the next six months trying to improve myself so that when I ran into her she'd regret fucking up our relationship. I hit the gym hard, I studied and got straight A's, and I practiced being the center of attention By the time that six months was over, I didn't even care about what she was doing, I was too obsessed with all the other girls who liked what I was doing.

I've been practicing those three things for 8 years now; fitness (8 years)/bodybuilding (6 years), solid career habits, and social skills. At this point I've slept with nearly 100 women. As I get older it gets easier and easier for me to bed women, but the question I keep coming back to is similar to yours, what now? I feel on top of the mountain in terms of my body, career, and friendships. I've been thinking a lot lately about what I want for the rest of my life, like you are. I keep coming back to this thought though and think you should consider it..."why does everything I do revolve around women?" Why is it the questions always seem to come back to them? I'm starting to think emotional intimacy is just some kind of deep seated human need. I have never felt that depth of a connection with a male friend the way I have with a woman I'm sleeping with. TL;DR - Became something I like, know women for their true nature, yet, trying to find fulfillment living in a western world against all odds.

One option I can offer you: travel. Get out of the West. I spent several years in Asia. It was wonderful. I may go back and settle permanently there. In the alt-right sphere there is a concept called voice & exit. Society necessitates some sort of implicit social contract; but this contract is open to negotiation. You've got the right to voice your dissatisfaction. If your voice isn't being heard, or no one agrees with you, or they punish you for speaking out, or they censor your message from reaching others, then it's time to opt for exit.

Exit can be physical. Get on a plane and leave the country. It can be psychological, you are here but mentally you are elsewhere, day dreaming, video gaming, Netflix binge watching, or sweating out your humanity in the gym. It can be rebellion. Go to the mall and don't spend a dime. Challenge peoples' assumptions. Ask questions. Troll people. The founder of Western Civilization, Socrates, was basically a troll. He would wander around Athens asking people questions and frustrating them with his responses. He frustrated so many people they condemned him to die. Rather than beg for mercy or run away he chose exit once again and drank hemlock to kill himself, revealing the corrupt nature of democracy that sentenced a man to death for telling the truth.

We live in just such a time. Perhaps every time is like this. The truth is dangerous. It's ugly and foul and inconvenient. You know the truth about women, about sex and marriage. What you do with that knowledge is completely up to you. Some of us wander the streets asking questions, annoying the citizens who accuse us of misogyny. We revel in our voice and refuse to stay silent. Words are our plaything and we'd rather die than be shut up. Voice is wonderful and every day we make new converts. That is the thrill.

But others don't really need to express themselves. Voice is uninteresting. Too cerebral. They prefer exit. They exit psychologically, they fuck bitches but never commit. They live selfishly without apology. They know the game and they play it. They leave the West and find that outside the bubble of the decaying blue pill West, things can be very different and pleasant elsewhere. But even over there the game is still being played. Nature is nature and a woman is a woman no matter her culture or language. Therefore I would argue that physical exit, although fun and exciting, is the more shallow version.

Allow a little rant from an old man who has been through much of this and was luckily raised by a strong man.

The one gift above all that makes good men great is an inquisitive, reflective mind. Humans seek answers – it is in our nature to do so (however we got here). Once a man throws off the shackles that bind his mind, it can be a serious crisis. Perhaps an existential one, like you are experiencing now.

The bad news – this will never end.

The good news – you get to experience it!

I would argue that a large part of the success of blue-pill mentality is based on fear. Analyze that as you will, but it takes courage to deliberately drop the veil of ignorance (swallow the red pill), not really knowing exactly what is on the other side. Reality is quite ugly, but it is run by people who invent all sorts of blue pills (and other colors too – we all know this).

I could point out Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, but no need to do that (pun intended). Self-actualization works well with TRP philosophy. Like someone else said, Stoicism is the end game. I knew this before ever even hearing about TRP many years ago. Martial Arts taught me this. But it is good to come here and get reminders. We all need them. We all need to know we are not alone. Humans are tribal. There is no escaping this.

So you are doing what you should be doing – finding other men to communicate with about these things. I have never ever once in my years heard a woman ponder life in these ways. So keep seeking out the counsel of other men.

Ultimately, if you can weather these sorts of emotional and existential “storms” you will come to realize that feelings like loneliness, sadness, and “what is it all about” are temporary. Marriage depends very heavily on these sorts of feelings. If we did not feel this way, then who the hell would sign that ungodly contract? Insane people that’s who.

Blue pill thinking is imbued in us from birth, which means it will never truly be gone. It takes a lifetime to undo my brother…a lifetime.

So one answer to your question is this - life is about finding meaning in our relationships. This means having many of them; male and female, friends and colleagues, lovers and children, girlfriends and gurus. (Keeping in mind that we should not need a legal contract with any of our friends in order for that friendship to be mutually rewarding.)

Another answer is to teach. Finding a way to alleviate the suffering of others feels good. Those who post here are doing good work to save fellow men from fell deeds. That should have meaning.

Finally, and I suspect this is what you are really asking, is to find a good woman. Men need intimacy and do not let anyone tell you different. It is one of our most basic instincts, but unfortunately the most difficult to get consistently. Society fucks with this need constantly and it is the reason why TRP exists to begin with. Others may disagree, but that is likely because they do not like the answer – not because it is wrong. Intimacy consists of three things – trust, respect and sex. Trust + respect = Friends; respect + sex = FWB; Trust + Sex = Temporary. Healthy men need all three for a sexual relationship to be fulfilling. There is no escaping this. What TRP tell us is that it is almost impossible to get real intimacy consistently for life. It is very rare, but it does exist. The problem is that it is not for everyone. Another problem is that those women who are raised properly and maintain their discipline are likely already married to men who do the same. Those men do not whine about how hard life is – at least not to her.
So over 40, your chances of finding that unicorn greatly diminish. But we still have this need for intimacy.

I suspect that TRP will ultimately evolve to create something like a “Master Class” for men who hit the ceiling you have obviously hit. Like many isms, ideologies, and belief systems there are limits – both to the big answers to big questions, and our own understanding. The big questions like the one you ask can challenge TRP because it is all about sexual strategy. TRP does not tell you how to be a good cook or climb a mountain- Nor should it. But you can never ever forget what TRP tells us about the basic nature of women. Just inculcate these ideas and expand on them. Find new friends, travel, teach young men who to be better, take a class, learn a language, and meet higher quality women. They are seeking meaning too – the good ones anyway. And if you can find a way to enjoy a brief journey with a few good ones, they will give you what you seek and you will be dead before you have time to think about the implications. Just never forget what you are dealing with - no matter how good it seems. (I am not advocating serial monogamy here, just serial meaningful-but-temporary relationships.)

Perhaps it is walking that razor’s edge becomes the ultimate journey for a TRP Black Belt.

If you can get to this point, think about how ridiculously privileged a life you are leading. Just think about that and pay it forward.

I've read through you post, and through quite a few comments. I think what you need is mastery. For me, I find fulfillment in the sport of strongman. I train for hours on end, research technique, watch videos, and do everything I can take make myself better. This bring me great fulfillment in life. I also know that there will come a day when my body can no longer handle the rigorous training. And at that time I will find something new to master. Perhaps a martial art, or perhaps some type of trade. A coworker of mine is a knife maker. His knives are incredible works of functional art. Bottom line, there's always something to be mastered. And that will always bring me fulfillment and a sense of accomplishment.

Don't remember how I found TRP, but it was probably out of anger and sexless frustration. I was an AFC, a hungry skeleton, and an emotional beta. Now I'm spinning plates, lifting weights, and I don't consider myself alpha but I also don't consider myself any kind of inferior to anyone else. The only thing I feel that could be interpreted as "inferiority" is when I see a jacked dude doing some weird exercise for his biceps and think to myself "I'm gonna do that on my next arm day." It's not inferiority so much as admiration and a desire to adapt and grow.

As far as my long game is concerned, I'm just saving money and making connections while trying my best to not knock up any sluts that come around.

There's only one thing that I feel should concern me about the long game, but it doesn't, and that's "real romance", or LTR's or whatever. I can't un-know what I've learned both from experience and theory about women. The closest I come to any actual feelings of "love" as I remember them are right after sex, and it has to be really God Damned Good sex, but that fades pretty fast.

honestly, for me its just information. At the end of the day, you need to practice a combination of red pill and blue pill behaviors to have fulfilling relationships, even though its not uncommon thanks to modern culture to be preconditioned towards too much blue pill behavior.

An asshole with the red pill is still an asshole, often an even bigger asshole as he now has some better techniques and knowledge to exploit people and justify being an asshole. A nice guy with the red pill is still a good guy, but basically has just been told that not everyone is good and that they need to guard themselves better to exploitation and make them better at achieving what they want. Its telling people that standards are okay, that its not your fault and its okay to cut people off, that you are better off not taking shit, women are just as bad as men, etc.

theres a lot of good information in TRP, theres also a lot of good morally dubious information and a lot of bad information, its up to the user to decide which to use, how to use it and who they want to be. if they want to use it to be an egotistical self superior jackass, so be it, although those are generally the people that make trp look bad, they exist. If you just wantto have fun, a good time, and identify/attain your goals, the trp can help you with that but you have to draw those lines and decide which parts help you the most to do it.

This is one of the reasons I tried to kill myself after I had TRP irrevocably forced down my throat.

I knew I would never really be a man that cared about status and money - not like some of the guys on here(not bashing anyone in anyway.) (Once again, bashing no one, to each their own) I knew a rather simple life was the one I wanted, with a few genuine realizations, self actualizations, and relationships thrown in. The lie of love left me empty, and still does. The lie of security and 'making it' makes me constantly just want to quit.

As it happens I do not belive in free will - but I do believe in one's power to introspect in order to discover what one truly wants. So my quest in this life is beauty. The beauty of travel. The beauty of the novel. The beauty of self discovery. The beauty of music. The beauty of education. The beauty of helping people who deserve it. The beauty of self improvement.

And all that? That has no end goal.

The goal is the process itself.

As far as RP, the end game is power over your own sex life. Power to generate sexual/romantic options and fully experience your desires. Achievement of a sex life that is completely fulfilling to you. (Edit: achievement of a fulfilling sex life on YOUR terms, not anyone else's.) Whatever that looks like, whatever that may be. Whether it's short-term spinning of plates the rest of your life, or a harem of FWBs, or one monogamous LTR, or hitting a brothel every weekend ... you have to decide for yourself what it is that you want. There isn't one single absolute answer, because each and every man's fulfillment will look different by degrees.

I'm a married woman so I'm not sure how warranted my imput is here but I'm fascinated by this thread and wanted to put my two cents in.

My husband and I got married for love and soon it turned into complete ownership and domination of each other. It was a devastating side effect; we were once so free, that’s what we were attracted to most in each other.

We then reproduced and got a house and two cars and shit, he went to work and I stayed home with the kids, as per traditional roles.

This was horrible for the both of us. We became vending machines to each other: put in the dinner I made and out comes money for household items. Put in the time he spent exploiting himself for money and out comes sex once a fucking week. We hated each other for robbing us of ourselves.

I’ve ALWAYS been attracted to polygamous relationships just for for sole fact that there’s so much goddamn pressure on me to live my entire life doing shit I hate doing (cooking and cleaning) all by myself (and I’m an extrovert!), not to mention the pressure of being a sexy person all of the time because I’m the only woman he’s ever gonna fuck again so I better be perfect. My husband was never okay with the idea of polygamy, and I’m thankful for it because I’ve realized that the accumulation of wives is just another way to accumulate property, that which I and he abhor being categorized as and so does he.

So instead we’ve decided to let each other go in every way we can at this point. We’re moving to New Orleans and we’re both going to make our income separately and creativity, so I make my own money and he doesn’t waste his talent exploiting his labor just to give it all to me and make his boss rich. I want us to flirt with people, get to know them without fear of what our “owner”s are going to think if we take it a little too far. I miss the flirty side of him. I haven’t seen it in years and he doesn’t even know what it looks like anymore. I find that so sad because I personally was swept away by him like no one else was able to sweep me and I feel like I’ve taken that part that was so unique and amazing about him and stomped it up into little pieces.

We never meant for this to happen. We were just following the rules that everyone said to follow to have a good life. Well, I’m saying that’s horse shit and those rules are for fucking suckers who are willing to trade their humanity for gadgets and gluttony.

What would happen if we freed everyone from being property? The feminist movement did not free women from ownership, it just gave them the right to own someone else. I look at it this way: if people looked at sex as a fun activity for women and taught that, if women weren’t told since birth that sex is only meant for your husband your virginity is directly linked to your worth, if women found the joy in sexual exploration while being safe (like I did in my youth), women would be liberated from ownership and in turn, so would men. Two people can agree to raise children and pool resources as two capable people rather than two halves to a whole. This is my own personal hypothesis but I honestly think rape would go away on its own; women would be giving themselves freely for their own enjoyment and it would no longer be socially acceptable to own or take another person in any way. Marriage and monogamy perpetuate this horrible cycle of captivity for all parties involved. Sex is now, through scientific advancement, not even necessary for the process of reproduction. There is no reason to perpetuate this garbage, it no longer serves anyone except people trying to profit from our inadequacies and pain.

If I were you I would start seeing women differently. We don't all want to own you or leech your resources, some of us genuinely have no idea there is an alternative and would gladly choose it if it was presented as the norm. I honestly think the biggest lie many of us are believing is that ANY of us are allowed to own another. I hope you find peace, congratulations for doing exactly what you set out to do. That takes some balls and commitment and should be admired, but never be afraid to drop a belief that no longer serves you. This is your movie. Don't confine yourself in the trap that any one belief or philosophy is the recipe to life abundantly, there is no recipe. There's only life.

No-one has ever figured this out and been able to translate the answer into written or verbal communication, many have tried. My two favourite things to remember about the big questions in life are: "Those who know it speak it not, those who speak it, know ot not".

The second is the Buddha's silence. When asked why we were here, what is the meaning of life, and other big questions, the Buddha simply remained silent. The implication is not that he did not know the answers, but rather he knew it was pointless to try and explain. The human mind will never comprehend "everything", it is like asking a dog to do calculus, it cannot and aeons of teaching will not help.

It's about happiness. At the end of the day we wouldn't be here if we were content with out lives, we all had that "this isn't right" gut feeling and trp conceptualises a model for understanding whats really at play. You go through the famous five phases and at the other side you're at peace with the way the world works.

I doubt TRP all the time, but when I look back to who I was when I joined (around the same time as you), I realise that digesting this information at my young age changed my life far more than anything thus far.
