Women are funny things. My GF has an aunt that works all day and runs the house while husband stays at home and does nothing, except some odd jobs here and there every two weeks. 90% of bills are paid by the aunt. Then they got a maid, a young girl of ~17 (this is Brazil, btw), and hubby went and fucked her. Aunt discovers it, fires the maid, slaps hubby around but does not kick him out.

Moral of the story: I have no idea.

Don't get me wrong, I see where you're getting at as I can see this phenomenon happening all the time (in fact it's happening right now with my parents: my dad's always done well for himself running his own business, making enough money to make our family live in a large house and go on holidays frequently throughout my childhood, but unfortunately he is struggling to make ends meet right now as his small business is having to cope with reforms in the financial market, running him nearly out of business and over the 25 years of marriage he has gone full-beta - my mother seems to want to jump ship, even though they were married with a prenuptial agreement), but this post made me chuckle a bit. All those things you mention are a great deal of what makes up who you are - thus, she does love YOU, but only as long as you do those things that make a woman love you. What I'm trying to say is that personality and intrinsic value is fluid and everything that you have going on in your life is you. Your corporeal form is only a small part of you.

That doesn't take away the fact that you need to be sober about ladies, make sure not to idolize them and that you need to watch to what extent you share in your wealth with any one lady.

First time poster here and I can attest to this. Very recently I was in what I thought was an amazing relationship. The girl was a marine and I figured "oh she is different from the rest, she can take care of herself." How fucking wrong I was.

Anyways I was there for her thick and thin. Her bed got stolen (because she fucked up her inventory and it was stolen or just lost in shipping) I bought her a new one. This is how I was raised, take care of the girl and she will take care of you. How fucking wrong I was.

I had a shitty day at work one day. I came home in the worst possible mood and I told her that my boss threatened to take my bonus away. A 5k bonus! She merely said "I am a bad listener." A week later, just before christmas, she went to san diego where she had her friend break up with me. Even though she owed me 600 bucks which she said she would pay back and to top it off I purchased 150 bucks of christmas gift for her. How fucking wrong I was.

The post is not entirely correct. She will not "find someone who can" the "moment" you stop providing what she loves.

Sometimes it takes a few months or even a few years in exceptional cases.

What she will lose the instant you stop providing what she loves is the tingles. In short, your woman will lose sexual attraction for you the instant you stop providing what she loves. Everything else follows from that point.

I think you missed a quite important one. And in fact it can make up for a lot of the other reasons she "loves you". It is:

She loves the way you fuck her and dominate her in bed. That's one of the strongest reasons a woman will chase you down IMO.

This is a stupid post. To say that women are incapable of loving a person is illogical and idiotic. Its a useless concept that perpetuates an incorrect view of women and has nothing to do with the "self improvement" this sub claims to be about. Downvote if you want, but I'd rather see some responses telling me why I'm wrong.

I don't disagree with your claims of other things that she loves. Those are spot on. But to say that she loves those things without loving you just isn't correct.

Edit: Looks like no one wants to tell me why I'm wrong. I've been subbed here for a couple months and I was really enjoying and learning from the posts but it seems like now its all hivemind that people mindlessly buy into. If you can't discuss a concept, why do you automatically think its true? At least Return of Kings still have good articles.
