I think Freedom is a higher order need for Men. For me, Freedom comes before: money, relationships, status, pleasure, other's approval, etc. I'm not saying you shouldn't try to become rich and fuck models, but you need to do so without losing Frame.

You can be rich and have an attractive wife and still be beta (the beta-bux). This guy may have the external dressings of masculine polarity, but he still is very much dependent and miserable.

Furthermore, there are certain paths which appear masculine (I'm thinking of certain high paying corporate slave jobs) that nonetheless induce dependency and value other things (money, society's approval) more than Freedom.

The beta loves his Slavery and feels like something is missing when he has no master to serve.

Yes...the Beta is an idolater. Women, masters, bux...he'll worship anything so he doesn't have to stand alone. Freedom and Frame are too scary for the beta.

Tracking the major changes since the 50's:

Lower child mortality leads to smaller families (5+ down to 2-3)
Women delay childbirth (economic benefit if only have 2-3 kids)
Birth control means women control their own childbirth (can take it without telling, can "forget" without telling)
Abortion is available to women if they change their mind (can neither be instigated nor prevented by men.. "it's my body!")
Child support makes men financially responsible for their own children or for others' children if married (seriously, this happens)
Safe Harbour laws mean women are not held responsible for their children and can opt out at any time
Alimony makes men responsible for women after marriage
No-fault-divorce means men are responsible for a woman they are not married to and have behaved impeccably.
Women are expected to work, although employers have to pay women the same regardless of performance (research the Productivity Gap).
The whole fucking West gets confused about equality-of-opportunity and gives anyone who identifies as a victim equality-of-outcome. Meritocracies are attacked as sexist because they benefit men (who on average work harder, take more risks, negotiate better and are more clever).

It doesn't take a genius to spot that every single one of the above laws and changes benefits women at the expense of men.

Perhaps most spectacularly... alimony plus no-fault-divorce makes marriage a no-lose proposition for women. Society panders to their instincts for security, then panders again to their desire for freedom and a payout. Men pay twice. Women can't lose.

I agree with you about why men aren't masculine these days, here are more reasons why men aren't masculine these days.

Schools and households being run by women.

Modern day education is more suited towards women.

Boys being taught putting women on a pedestal is normal and good by the media (which i think you touched on with disney).

Boys being conditioned to make women and having a family their mission in life rather than some sort of career.

There are practically no male only spaces anymore.

Freedom is something which I always wanted to achieve. Have you ever wondered why you should go to school and learn all this stupid shit, when you're only passionate about X? Or why should you get a job? Why should you sit 8 hours a day doing something you don't like?

I have just finished my obligatory education and everyone asks me: 'So what will you study?' There is not even a thought in their minds that I do NOT want to study right now.

I'm currently working some summer jobs to earn enough money for a solid backpack, a tent and a sleeping bag. Gonna say goodbye to society rules for as long as I want.

It's one of the greatest cons out there: making everyone want to be a servant.

I know men who made millions at a young age when their company was purchased or went public. They still make the same hellish two-hour commute to work every day because they can't imagine doing anything else...or doing whatever they want.

I know other men who saved and invested wisely over a long career and are worth millions. They still work because they are afraid that they won't be able to buy whatever they (and their wife and kids) want.

These are all well-educated men who are highly skilled in STEM fields or are JDs or MBAs. Even they can't fight their worker/consumer programming. Logically they know they should stop working and take a different path, but they are afraid.

None of us (18-30y old) are going to get to pension. So take your time, figure things out, and act the way you like.

More than "none is going to get out alive" is, none is getting their old age guaranteed.

So either you get hard into business or you make cool photoshops until you are dead (assuming you stay into welfare society)

The joke is, politicians think they are giving us a choice.

I started a very healthy living style and i can say: i didn't do it because i think i can live forever or shet (although obviously the life quality is a good bonus). Wether style you prefer, live proudly and don't serve the masters of doom. Those who want you to believe is perfectly fine not to achieve nothing special in your whole life and slave away your years. Fuck them and build yourself uniquely by your own desires.

Even dying early by your choice is better than dying into a programmed, wanted doom program that leaves nothing of your former self.

Better is not to die early, but honestly, what i mean is anything is better than to serve the masters of your own misery.

This goes way way deeper than many might suspect and it encompasses every aspect of your life.

The elites have learned from the mistakes they made in the past and they make sure that their cattle is in a constant twilight state. They need them to be just healthy enough in order to serve the holy cow of endless growth, but sick enough to be too apathatic and phlegmatic to actually realize what is going on.

As an example of this I encourage you to think about welfare, but do it outside of the usual boundaries of either trying to help poor people, or hating on it because it supports the lazy, but put into equation that the french revolution started over too many people not being able to feed themselves. Maybe start your own investigation about who makes the most profit from food stamps. Draw your own conclusions.

You should make it a habit to question literally everything you have learned as a fact. In fact it is safer to assume that the opposite is true and look for proof against that.

The first step is to stop consuming mass media. Stop watching TV and acknowledge that every big news source (on- and offline) is ultimately owned by a group of very few people and that journalism today actually means copying and pasting press agency texts. Often even without changing any word.

Once you went through with this and start to develop media competence by doing your own research on articles you read, you will start to see how things are connected more and more and the urge to get out of it will grow in you.

I am not going to lie to you though. There are times where you'll wish you never wanted to learn about this shit in the first place.

This post is so true. It's actually something that i'm dealing with right now in my own life/with my own family. They are completely locked down and a slave to their previous choices/possessions and I am struggling really hard to break us all free from it and get freedom for us. It's really tough to break free once you are enslaved.. my advice to all reading is to never become a slave in the first place.

Due to the shit market my mother is stuck in a house she can't afford that is too big for her that is making her depressed. I'm trying to help her sell it but no one seems to be able to get it sold. She's wasting her life away in that house to be honest. Me on the other hand all my possessions can fit in a car and a few bags. Will likely never buy a house, only ever rent. When you rent you can cut and run based on new information. When you own you are stuck.

The only way I can ever see myself owning a house is if I have so much money that I can burn the house down and not care for even a second. The ability to be flexible, mobile, and free... that is what I really want. It's a lot harder that it sounds to get into that life if you are stuck in the typical blue life of owning a bunch of shit and being stuck to one place.

A lot of the time I think about just putting all my stuff in my car and driving away and I might do it, especially now that summer is coming through and I live in a highly humid area which I hate. All my ancestors come from mountain areas with super dry air and for some reason my idiot parents decide to immigrate to america into a swampland. I mean, i'm glad to be here in the USA, best country in the world and I mean that, but damn, really, humidity? Hate this stuff.

The only thing keeping me from moving right this second is that I have no skills or experience in anything that could get me a job somewhere. I know I am smart and hard working and a quick learner but there doesn't seem to be a place for someone like me in today's world. I'll likely have to find a way to make money via computers/internet somehow. I have some cash saved up but it goes quick once you start using it and don't have an income. This I know.

If the summer heat starts to bug me much more than it already is now (only may, wtf?) I'll likely just hit the road and find a way or die trying. I'm sure some of my ancestors had to do the same thing at some point.

The concept of "responsibility" takes a very different meaning through the eyes of a master versus those of a slave. Responsibility for a slave carries with it an overwhelming stench of fear and indolence. The slave lives in dread of receiving a beating from his master(s). Woman, self-assured, virile men, the current of society at large, all of these are masters in one way or another of the slave, ensuring that his interpretation of responsibility always remains one in which he serves some master. "Give them enough rope and eventually they will hang themselves" is a nice little way to sum up the quiet desperation of the slave. "Freedom to create and obey my own 'laws', my own responsibilities? No authoritarian wife giving me direction? No boss to give me instructions? No children to help me make sense of my slavery? I would be crushed to death under the weight of such freedom"

I'm at a different spot in life, but am also valuing freedom more.

I'm keeping my eyes open ways to buy freedom in my life. Getting divorced was a big first step (heh). If I can sell my house for the right price, that will be a big next step. The resulting pile of cash could be used to buy a business so I can drop the 9 to 5. Or it could buy some sort of multifamily place for me to live and have the rent rolling in and retire early. Or something completely different.

Freedom should matter to everyone, it's sad to see how enslaved most westerners are.

This is an interesting point. I've always valued my freedom, to the point where I look at everything as a set of equations. Not mathematical mind you, but more like action- consequence. So for example, a relationship is an action whereby I sacrifice my freedom for a woman, in return gaining companionship, sex and essentially someone to help in certain ways. Of course, that's not usually how it goes now, but essentially that means it's no longer worth my time to pursue one.

This applies elsewhere of course. Jobs vs pay vs time is another one.

I always used to wonder why the world made me miserable when I thought I was depressed. Then I realized the world is depressing. If you see through the portraits painted by society, you can't be a part of the painting. Being the painters is a worthwhile trade off, but it's very different for sure.
