Before I say anything, it should go without saying the shooting in Oregon is a horrific event. Like clockwork though, every time something of this nature happens the social narrative turns into a complete shitfest. Since our society discourages agency we wave our finger in every possible direction until it lands on a symptom of the problem, and the media perpetuates the idea until it becomes "fact".

This morning though, something interesting popped up in the comments of the reddit front page post following the shooting;

CNN reports on shooter being beta male

What in the fuck did you just watch?

First off the blonde reporter describing a beta male as if she has no idea whatsoever what one of those is, is laughable. It's not as if she's actively pursued ignoring them her whole life.

The point of this post isn't to expose that behavior though, it's to address that the media decided not to blame the shooters actions on mental illness, bullying, or even something like gun control (not that I want them to), the reporter basically said "It was one of those sick beta males, you know, the guys who can't get laid." Then you get feminist beta male jerkoff dude reporter to follow up with, "Exactly! Had these sick beta males not been on the internet and instead in their rooms alone being pathetic, these things wouldn't happen."

But when a fat chick screams and attacks people in public, she's a strong feminist who's #thickandproud.

Our society is truly one that hates men, and it's fucking sickening.
