What's fascinating to me about criticism of Peterson is how shallow it is. Just a few days ago I had this exchange where one person characterized Peterson as "wrapping verbal turds in velvet blankets" (meaning, nothing he says has any meaning). And another person claimed his words are, "nonsensical sentences ... and when you unwrap his stuff, there is nothing there."

So, two people saying Peterson spews gibberish that has no meaning. I selected a random statement from a random video and broke it down for them, showing that he was making an affirmative claim that they could (if they weren't idiots) address.

Predictably, the downvoted and ignored. That's what amazes me. They'll arrogantly sarcastically pretend that he's not saying anything, but when pressed they flee like cowards.

Him crying made me cry as well. As I feel that there is someone out there that still cares about lonely men that has a voice that can reach a bigger crowd.

I have seriously thought and almost went through multiple suicide attempts because I feel, and still do, like my life is devoid of meaning as I have never felt love other than my solo parent mother. That's why Peterson has made me rethink about how society doesn't care about lonely men. Him and Warren Farrell on "The Boy Crisis".

My father left my mom and I at birth, so I felt I was hated by the society from the moment I was born. When I was a child I tried being nice to everyone and even became best friends with someone who has a facial disfigurement who was also lonely and being bullied in elementary. Skip to junior high and I found out that people were laughing at my appearance and someone later in later senior high apologized to me because they thought I was autistic because of how unusually nice I am to everyone. After that moment did I started to notice and realize that people were literally laughing at my back because of my anti-social behaviors and appearance. This has made me very perceptive in people since then. Anyway, my life experience and observations since then has taught me to never trust anyone but family, and given that people always mocked me behind my back and even at college mockingly shipped me with a girl who was clearly just being nice but not interested, it only destroyed the little self-esteem I had left, it only proved my assumptions. Humans are inherently cruel to those who they think are below themselves. So I gave up on love.

Yes, I am by definition an Involuntary Celibate. No, I don't want to beat women. No, I don't think the world owes me love. I just want to tell my story anonymously as I know no one will listen to me in real life.

I know one of you fuckers will post this on r/IncelTears or similar places. You only prove my point.

I remember he had a guy write a question into a live show asking why he shouldn't off himself and Jordan took time for the guy. Thought that was classy.

I have read his books, I can tell you without knowing much about him earlier and just by his books I was sure this guy was compassionate and intellectual person. And watching his videos he actually is pretty smart. Call him anything you want but don't forget he has seen a lot of people's mental health from his practice so his words I take seriously.

With the rise of single motherhood in the last 40 years and women dominating academia, they are the ones raising and educating these so called "incels". Peterson has some compelling stuff and I will always get a kick at the way he handled those turkeys from UofToronto. However he always seems to pull back when topics with obvious misandry are brought up.

I hope he doesn't get de-platformed but at the same time people should accept that he has a lucrative grift thanks to youtube. He also has his own personal problems that effect his credibility. IMO his relationship with his daughter makes me question his credibility even more. He is well meaning and his heart is in the right place but I take him with a grain of salt.
