Move on, this is petty. What part of hurting his wife and kids moves you ahead in your mission? Absolutely none of it. Let this pain of being cheated on with a loser sink in and make you realize that you completely let yourself go. This isn't his fault, her fault, and definitely not his families fault. It was yours, just like the rest of us, the only direction out of your situation is to own up to what you did and to solely focus on what you can control. Unless you actually have your own children with this woman, losing her is an absolute win. Building a dope ass life with a single mom is like trying to cook a gourmet dinner from left overs. Food has a short window when they are best and it's important to work with fresh and uncooked ingredients. Granted, I can reheat a steak and have it turn out better than any microwave dinner, but if she is leaving you for an old, fat, broke, slob with a wife and kids, then she wasn't a prime cut. I’ve seen this happen with a few of my buddies, but it’s never a full branch swing. It’s usually the woman sick and tired of being ignored and unappreciated for many years, or the guy severely lacked a characteristic that was important to her. Just the power of another man’s attention is enough to make her go crazy if she hasn’t felt desired in years. Usually when found out these women will beg for forgiveness. On the other hand, if she branched swinged it means something in the other guy was more attractive than you, and she wrote you off for it a long time ago. It doesn’t have to be looks or how much better shape you are than him. It can simply be that he displayed higher confidence than you in one or more areas that was a real turn on for her.

Confidence in an area that you might have severely lacked in. It doesn’t have to be financial success. Something about the other guy made her feel a certain way that you didn’t. In the case of my buddy, he would fold and go into depression at any sign of adversity in life. She left him for the other guy who was a solid masculine man despite he the fact he was old, less rich, fatter and not as good looking.

This has happened to 3 guys I know.
