Honestly man, the older I get, I have a lot of appreciation for older women who keep themselves looking fantastic. It's a lot harder to look 25 when you're 35-40 than it is when you're 25, but there's plenty of women out there who pull it off. They tend to have better pillow talk, too. I'd be more worried about socially being behind than losing your virgin. I was pretty social growing up and it still took me quite some time to really understand the nuances of social interactions with many types of people and building an active social circle whether I was single or not. Most guys are just socially inept because they are too focused on the lay, so when their gf leaves them they have zero prospects and no social circle to facilitate having an active social life that aids in meeting girls.
I knew a friend who was studying to be a lawyer. He was a virgin and mostly focused on graduation, but he had a lot of friends. Once he graduated and got a job, he had no trouble finding a girl since he already had an existing social circle which helped him go out and meet more people. It's okay to be a virgin, there is no excuse to having no social connections.

I am in my mid-30's and I feel like I have finally "come into my own". I'm in decent shape, make decent money and generally have my shit together. I get way more female attention than I ever did in my 20's. These really are the prime years for a man.
Everyone is different of course, but as I've gotten a bit older, I now have no interest in dating or meeting girls under 25. The difference in maturity and life experience is too great and I'm no longer just looking for sex. I have nieces that age and they just still seem like kids to me.
But that's just me personally and everyone is entitled to do as they see fit for themselves.

I dated a 22-year old recently and the difference is so clear. She was very sweet and did have some things of interest about her by virtue of being from a very different culture, but I could also just tell by most of the things she said that she was, well, very much 22. Just out of university, all her best stories involved alcohol, and didn’t really stand for much or know her place in the world yet - these are things that just scream “not quite there.”
I don’t need someone who has 100% of their shit figured out, but for the love of whoever’s upstairs, have some conviction and know where your life is going. If all your stories are about beer bongs, Coachella, and Snapchat, we’re probably not going to talk for very long. That just so happens to be what most 20-year old girls are going to talk about. I’ll spare myself.
Also, I wish this wasn’t such a hot take but: if you’re in your mid-late 20’s and going for 18-19 year olds, that’s a little weird. It gets downright creepy if you’re doing it at 30+.
