As a 20yr virgin, I really hope I'm not worrying about losing my virginity when I'm bordering on 30. I'm not in a hurry to lose it, focusing on improving myself both mentally and physically. I just hope this covid stuff is solved sooner rather than later as I feel like I'm missing out on my early 20s.

Serious question: do you foresee potential interest/incompatibility issues (due to immaturity or difference in life experience) with 18-21 year olds as you enter your 40s and 50s?

I agree with what you've written about women finding confidence and having your shit together attractive. That makes me curious - do you find those same qualities attractive in women? And do you ever find them lacking in young women of that age range?

I am in my mid-30's and I feel like I have finally "come into my own". I'm in decent shape, make decent money and generally have my shit together. I get way more female attention than I ever did in my 20's. These really are the prime years for a man.

Everyone is different of course, but as I've gotten a bit older, I now have no interest in dating or meeting girls under 25. The difference in maturity and life experience is too great and I'm no longer just looking for sex. I have nieces that age and they just still seem like kids to me.

But that's just me personally and everyone is entitled to do as they see fit for themselves.

...ehhh. Look man, I’m not trying to sound pretentious but what the Hell am I going to talk to an 18-year old about? I’m 26 and applying for advanced degrees in the sciences, she’s barely into her freshman year. I’ll pass.

I dated a 22-year old recently and the difference is so clear. She was very sweet and did have some things of interest about her by virtue of being from a very different culture, but I could also just tell by most of the things she said that she was, well, very much 22. Just out of university, all her best stories involved alcohol, and didn’t really stand for much or know her place in the world yet - these are things that just scream “not quite there.”

I don’t need someone who has 100% of their shit figured out, but for the love of whoever’s upstairs, have some conviction and know where your life is going. If all your stories are about beer bongs, Coachella, and Snapchat, we’re probably not going to talk for very long. That just so happens to be what most 20-year old girls are going to talk about. I’ll spare myself.

Also, I wish this wasn’t such a hot take but: if you’re in your mid-late 20’s and going for 18-19 year olds, that’s a little weird. It gets downright creepy if you’re doing it at 30+.

I'm in my 40s and the only problem with younger girls/women is that I usually find them inappropriate for me. I just don't feel attraction, even if they're usually cute.

I got approached by several younger girls but I felt like I was interacting with a little sister or a daughter.

I found decent ones starting from 38-40+. It only happened 1 time that I felt some interest for a 22yo, but she had a really smart and mature brain.

my parents have a 10 year difference. my mother was 30 when she had me.... I wouldnt say that i personally would go after 18-year-olds when I am over 30 myself, i mean at some point i'd like to have a family myself and when she is approaching or in her "wild" twenties, I don't think that she would be up for kids at that time, but then what the fuck do i know. On point. One universal thing you need to do for fact, you gotta look fit and youthful. I'm short to average in height that can really benefit you. I approached girls and was blown away by their reactions, I honestly didn't know they could be completely younger, but my height is like still around 6-7 grade.
