I suffer from severe depression. I literally do nothing most days but sleep and scroll YouTube, twitter, Reddit, etc... I don't have anything interesting in my life currently to the point that I contemplate suicide almost weekly but somehow I easily get women.

Hey man. That's good for you and I'm really happy for you (even though you don't sound too happy for yourself). People are literally working their asses off to even get one woman, and then she turns out to be a low-value girl anyway. And they get frustrated even more. IMHO that's the norm.

I see 2 issues with your post: first, it's not really helpful or insightful. You got that one thing going for you, and that's awsome, many would be envious. But you are not giving any insights on how. So, it's really difficult to capitalize on your post or "learn something". Is it possible to get girls if you are depressed or broke? Sure. People are complex and there are many attraction switches you can turn. Many are subconscious

The second issue is that you are an outlier. Is it possible? yes, but it is not the norm. For every average-looking, depressed, shy guy getting tons of pussy out there, there is an army of overachievers getting frustrated because they can't score even once. I am not sure what that "teaches". Should we stop working and start contemplating suicide in order to get girls over our place for sex and do our laundry?

Don't hate me. I am really happy for you and I hope you can get therapy and get over this rough patch you are going through in your life. But I am getting mixed feelings from your post and I don't know how to best interpret it.

I also got the same feeling during my universities. I'd skip lectures a lot and was about to get extended for a year or so. I've even cutting my wrists a lot.

You know what i do? Ask my not closed friend to keep my phone away from me for a week. Also, if i ask to take my phone back, I'd said i promise to pay him 50000 Yenn(around 400 USD i think). Higher stakes means how badly i wanted to change my life..

I was like a drug addict during the first 3 days. I'd nothing to do as i don't have my phone. So i spend my time with my friends playing basketball, soccer, badminton and going to the gym. Becoming more productive than before.😂😂

Hope you get well, If needed always seek for medical help and honestly when I was depressaed, sex just doesnt seem to be thing that would incentivise me. That said, other than medication, its good to workout as it does help.
