So long story short, I had all the basic self esteem crushers when I was younger. I was bullied, very overweight as a kid, had parents who put me down and never encouraged me in anything.

I’m 24 now and in the best shape of my life, and frequently catch attractive women looking at me. But the problem is, I still feel haunted by my past.

Social situations are somewhat easy for the most part, but it’s hard to make deeper connections with people in part due to my reclusive nature and mental illness.

As far as seduction, it is easy to talk to women who I either find unattractive or just don’t see potential for a relationship. This has led to my love life becoming a series of tinder hookups and short lived flings with no real emotional connection.

When it comes to women I’m actually interested in, I can’t shake the feeling of “I’m not good enough to be talking to you” or “hell no, don’t approach her you loser” or something of that nature.

My question is, for any of you that have had a similar experience and got over it, how did you manage to shake that feeling?
