Shit testing is openly questioning your frame by giving you shit. Like asking you if you're 100% sure you're not gay? Or things like "you don't have a car!???"

Ghosting, taking a long time to reply, being hot and cold is not shit-testing. That's just low interest. This happens to absolutely everyone all the time!!

Good looking men also get shit tested. But less so. Shit-testing happens because

She's only somewhat into you or not sure about you.
She doesn't trust you. You come across as a faker to her. She doesn't believe your personality or frame. You might have a weak frame or she might never have met someone like you (so she can't wrap her mind around it). Or you come across as someone with false bravado.
She's just an asshole who likes to degrade people. A bully.

If she likes you, is attracted to you, and believes that your personality is honest and legit. Then she won't shit-test you unless she's just a bully. Most women aren't so that means shit-testing will be rare.

Shit testing comes from insincerity, not having good/bad looks, so the looks factor doesn't really make much of a difference.

That said, EXTREMELY good looking guys will sometimes bypass shit tests because sometimes women will be so enamored with his looks that it overrides his potential insincerity. Though you could also argue that extremely ugly guys will also bypass shit tests because they will receive so much disinterest that shit tests never enter the equation.

But on the whole, you'll find that incongruent/insincere/deceitful guys will get roughly equal percentages of shit tests regardless of their looks.

You can not say an absolute no. But you can most certainly say that good-looking men get shit tested far lesser than average ones. Women shit test those who they are partially interested in or entirely disinterested in to see if the guy is of caliber. Men, who Women are head over heels for do not get to experience shit tests, because women get restless infront of them. They measure every word they say and want to impress them at every chance.

It's just about who is interested more. Lesser the interest, higher the efforts, higher the interest, lesser the efforts. And it is applicable to both men and women.

I honestly have no clue. I’ve always thought the concept of shit testing is overblown because it’s never happened to me (either that or I’m completely oblivious to when I’m being shit tested) and I don’t think I’m super attractive.

I’ve been called good looking by random people, but I’ll admit I’m still working on self confidence issues since I started shaving my head, so I don’t have a good grasp on how attractive I’m actually perceived by the opposite sex

I would say I have above average looks (i've had girls walk up to me and give me their numbers, ive had girls just walk up to me and say im hot, ive had girls say im a 10 etc). However I have slept with half the amount of women of my friends. I get shit tested a lot especially after more of my personality comes out (im really nerdy). Also im generally more conservative so I'm not as much fun as some of friends. What ive learned is confidence and being bold is a huge factor. Although my looks has been a huge foot in the door, my lack of confidence has been more of a determining factor

That's not a shit test, that's just you taking too long to take action. You should ask women out within a few texts, you shouldn't go text her for weeks before asking her out. It depends on the situation, but generally you want to act as fast as you can or you'll miss out on the opportunity.

For instance, at a nightclub, the time to act is even smaller, if you don't make a move on a girl who likes you, she will eventually leave and you will never see her again. If you see her on the street, it's even shorter, you have to act in a matter of seconds or she will pass you by and again you won't see her again.

A lot of guys, especially nowadays, freeze up when they get an opportunity to talk to a girl and ask her out, because they worry too much about what to say. The truth is, women don't care what you say. You could even just be asking for directions, then pivot into a conversation about her interests, then ask her out. You don't need a pickup line, you don't need to have a script to follow. Women really are just people, not complicated pieces of software you need to hack.

The true definition of a shit test is actually when you're in a relationship and the girl will test for whether you're more dominant than her or more submissive, that will change the way she behaves towards you, she will adapt to you, for better or for worse. Letting her walk all over you would result in her having very little respect for you and eventually the relationship would end. Dominating her to the point of being controlling and abusive would also not last very long unless she has really low self esteem. You pass shit tests by controlling your emotions in disagreements/fights and not being easily manipulated/controlled. That comes with practice and has nothing to do with looks, it's more a matter of emotional calibration, which has to be practiced.
