Just make sure you stay positive my friend. Sounds like this realisation has gotten you down a bit. The ole conundrum 'How can I stand out, when that's not who I am?'. I think the answer is to control your emotions, figure out how to be your calm self, in stressful situations, because that's something lots of people struggle to do, so you'll be 'special', not easy to do it for sure, but not impossible. I'm on that journey, I feel a lot more confident and calm around attractive women, BUT not in all situations, that's where I can grow. I think being able to stay calm has lots of benefits beyond seduction as well.Merry Christmas :)

I have a personal philosophy that has served me well over the years.

I’m not attracted women who aren’t attracted me.

If they don’t like me, then I assume they are not my audience and I move on. I look for my audience because they have the finer taste required to recognize the opportunity in front of them.

Would you want to be with someone tasteless? Would you want to be with someone who doesn’t actually want you? Who’s to say they’re so great?

This principle assumes that you have the judgement to tell when you are the issue and when you are not, so I would say if you’ve done all of the recommended beginner stuff then pick it up.

There are stages of development to skills acquired in the areas of pick up and seduction. One of them is to get burnt out and almost give up, but you don’t. You take a break and then you come back more comfortable and less outcome dependent. You sound like you might be burned out right now. Take a breather and don’t beat yourself up. Boring girls actually have more options than attractive ones. Its part of game theory. Also called attainability and you can read about it elsewhere. The gist of it is that more beta chumps see boring girls as being in their league so they approach and obsess over them. Since beta guys are in the vast majority you end up with this situation.

The funny thing about this is that it doesn’t change female psychology. Imagine if you had hundreds of women hitting on you but they were all obese and ugly. You might like the attention but it doesn’t diminish your attraction towards attractive women.

Now, my logic could be wrong and I haven't thought this through completely but please read what I have to say and let me know any mistakes in this line of thinking :

You're a guy who noticed a boring girl and the amount of options that she has. Now, in contrast to that, there must be some boring guy who gets attention from thousands of women. Assuming you're not one of those guys, you know that if a woman just tries to find out more about you she'll discover a man who is well rounded, has some good qualities and, most importantly, ready to improve himself on his shortcomings for this woman. Ergo, there are woman who are waiting to be discovered but are either neglected by men who are shallow or they're just not sure about the kind of men they like and want in their life.

Your comment makes me wonder if there is a severe assymetry of information which exists between men and women. I am sure it exists but to what extent?

Seriously. I've been with one of those boring women who only has looks and body going for her. No hobbies, only listens to mainstream music, etc. Was a terrible experience, broke up with her pretty quick. Save your time, I've been with girls who arent terribly attractive but they actually have character and the relationship is so much more fulfilling.

Obviously the ideal is a girl who is not only a stunner but also has good character and personality but I'd take an average girl that I enjoy being around over a chick that just goes nothing besides drugs and alcohol.

This is why the common advice of "work on yourself first" is so valuable. In order to regularly pull high quality women into your life on a regular basis, you need to be a complete person. That doesn't mean that you need to be perfect - no one is - but you need to offer something of value. Some men have that easier than others right out of the gate (nearly everyone has a buddy who looks like a model who gets attention with much less effort), but the good news is that high quality people are made over time with putting in true work and honest self analysis.
