Simple, effective first date (with bonus F-close). Detailed step-by-step

A long post, brain dump. Will circle back to later to edit for spelling, grammar, flow etc.

Just getting back into the dating scene after a couple years of being career focused (mid-20s). The last few dates have been quite successful with an F-close. Thought I would share my story with detailed steps so its idiot proof.

I'm not going to go in depth about getting the date and the specific conversation techniques. This is more about set up, logistics and simple date ideas. Modify to your situation. Some may sound super OCD or not necessary, but its not too time consuming and produces results.

Myself: Asian, slim, mid 20s.

Girls: Various races in mid-late 20s. Around a 7-8/10.

Date Night Summary: I have the girl meet me at a bar for a drink near my place around 8pm. The bar has a nice view, so I sell them on this to meet me. After a couple hours of banter, laughs and sexually escalating convo, I pay (don't be a douche) then take her for a quick walk along the water to this cool spot on the beach. Getting to this spot has some tricky footing, so it gives me an excuse to hold her hand. Sit on a log for a bit to see the city view. Put my arm around her and other kino. Chat a bit, then inform her there is a bottle of wine in my fridge with her name. Walk off the beach and continue holding her hand. Walk back to my place, pour some wine. Turn on some music and continue the conversation and escalating kino. 30-60 mins later make out ensues and she is ripping her clothes off and I just batted a home run.

Here's the behind the scenes work, which IMO is very important for me to operate.

A Couple Days Before the Date:

1) Clean your damn home. Vacuum, wash the floors, put away dishes, scrub the bathroom and put away your laundry (wash your date outfit too). Put away any other junk and clutter. Many of my friends places aren't the most pleasant, or at best a bit cluttered/messy. She has probably experienced this at other dude's places.. So a clean home will blow her mind and she will blow you. Remember: the cleaner your home is, the dirtier she will be.

Some more about your home: IMO, keep your place looking mature if possible. I understand you can't just throw out and replace your shit, but if you are moving out soon, get some real furniture. Personally, I go for a modern, minimal style. A show home, but warmer. No clutter, no excess nick knacks, don't overdo the Ikea. Be original.

My place is small. I got an L-shaped couch (get this, since it allows you to lay down on the couch and kick your feet up), waterfall coffee table, glass shelf. Get some candles spread around. I only display a few unique art pieces on my shelf. Otherwise, I display photos of family and friends (so it doesn't look so cold), travel pics and non-fiction books. I got a cool table top fireplace, which my buddy nick named the panty dropper.

Kitchen counter is clutter free, kitchen table has some flowers on it. Shit is all in my cabinets.

My art is all travel pictures. Great conversation starter. Chicks love to travel, so have some pictures of Europe up (even if you haven't been there) and tell them how romantic it is.

Bedroom: Get some nice sheets. I got some $300 sheets that I waited to go on sale. $100 and I am sleeping on butter. Egyptian cotton duvet cover too. My room has a bed (make your damn bed), two night stands and a lamp That's it. Get a dimmer, or change your light bulb to something dimmer the day before. I also made my own head board. Great conversation starter, since I always get compliments on it. Always impressive if you show off your handy side too.

2) Get some snacks and wine. Women love wine. Have a bottle of white in the fridge and red on the counter. Have some fruit pre-cut, washed and ready to serve. Get a few other tasty, but healthy snacks ready.

3) Grooming: Get a cool haircut if needed, trim nails (it needs a couple days to grow for optimal finger action), shave/trim down there.

4) No solo action 24-36 hours before you meet her.

5) Watch some James Bond movies. You absorb his swagger and witty one liners in your subconscious. I recommend Connery. Copy him.

Just before the date:

1) Shower and brush your teeth. No explanation needed

2) Put on a nice outfit. I personally go for fitted medium/dark coloured pants from Zara ($35), a V-neck t-shirt ($10) and grey Zara blazer ($80). Some striped socks and chelsea boots (easy to slip off when you get home and things get hot...you don't want to fiddle with laces). Bring what you need: cash (more than usual you cheap ass), keys, wallet, phone, chap stick, couple condoms. No need to fill your pockets with excess junk. Nothing is sexier than fiddling to find your keys when you are bringing her home.

3) Style your hair, moisturize face, spritz on cologne. My personal favorite is Chanel Bleu. Fuck it, I also put on a bit of colored foundation to even out my skin.

4) Condoms and basic lube in bedside table drawer. Easy access. Also, pre-tear a tiny edge of the condom wrapper if needed. Some have this already done, others don't. Never tear to expose air. Nothing kills the mood more than slippery fingers than can't tear open the wrapper.

5) Have your playlist set up and ready to turn on quickly. I like "cool and sexy" on Songza (r&b)

6) If the venue is busy, have a reservation or wait in line before she shows up.

During the Date: Have her meet at a venue near your place, or a place that's easy to get back to your place (ie a quick cab ride). I like this since its easy to get back to a hook up spot. I guess you could pick a place near her home for privacy reasons. Then you don't have to clean your home lol. Anyways, I set a time around 8pm, so its after dinner. If she didn't eat, feed her anyways.

One cocktail. Maybe some can handle their liquor better, but lets just say too much alcohol inhibits blood flow. She can have a couple to get her loose. Obviously not to the point you can't easily say you were not taking advantage of her.

Switch between playful banter, genuine questions to get to know her and escalating sexual talk. Put in some light touching if possible. Give off a vibe you are funny, intelligent, confident, ambitious and have your shit together.

Take her for a walk or venue change. I am near the waterfront, so a quick walk to the beach area. It has some rocks to get over, so easy excuse to hold her hand. Its secluded and has a nice view, so she's relaxed. Light kino, arm on her thigh or waist. Chat a bit like during drinks. Say there is a bottle of wine with her name on it, then head home.

When at home, escalate a bit more. Be a gentleman, pour her a glass of wine and get out your prepped snacks. What do chicks do while you are occupied doing this shit? They snoop. They look at your art, pictures and books. Since you have adult shit, it makes you appear to have your shit together. Also, gives her something to comment on and you can impress her with your intelligence. Where is that? Oh, that was when I was in Paris blah blah.

Put the tunes on. Light a couple candles (or the fireplace if she asked about it). Sit on the couch, sip some wine (pace yourself, fool) and continue the conversation. No TV. Escalate the kino. At this point, she is ready to kiss you.

Make out a bit. Slow this down. Foreplay. She starts tugging at your clothes. Take your shirt off. Start feeling her up, then she will start to take her shirt off. Take over that task, tease her a bit (ie take it off slowly). Once her bra is off, then its a done deal. Kiss and lick her all over. Either pick her up, or lead her to the bedroom.

Once you lay her on the bed, keep the make out session going. Pants come off soon, and keep her pleasure going. Grab your condoms and lube, then close.

Lessons (in chronological order) Overall, have everything go as smooth as possible. Be as prepared as a Navy SEAL and as suave as 007. Bond may look good and be charming and confident, but I also never see Bond waiting in line, fiddling to find his keys, forgetting shit or being unprepared.

My venue is busy, so I show up 20 minutes early to wait in line and get a table. She doesn't want to wait in line, so this starts things off on a positive. Get a good spot.

No dinner. First date, I ain't feeding you. Drinks is a good way to get her loose. No need to elaborate activities or other expensive shit. Limit your alcohol intake. Everyone is different, but remember, alcohol inhibits blood flow.

Simple venue change. After drinks, walk to a secluded place. Bonus points if there's a view or something else to do. This allows you to escalate the kino and hold her hand. If its a unique area she hasn't been to, then that's even better.

When you bring her home, your home is already ready. Clean, uncluttered, and looking as sexy as you are. She needs to focus on you, be impressed and not have dirty dishes or a sticky floor on her mind. It makes you stand out from the other clowns she's seen.

Your home helps your image. Travel photos, photos of friends/family, cool art pieces make you seem cultured, fun and caring.

When you get her to the bedroom, your nails have been trimmed (god gave you 10 fingers for a reason), you don't kill the mood searching for a condom and lube, and your lighting is off the hook.
