So I was thinking about how I used to view girls before I found Seddit and I realized I had this strange way of thinking about how to get a girl. I don't know if this has been named something else already, so don't hate on me if it is, but I'm going to call it the Relationship Ladder.

The Relationship Ladder was the way AFC me decided he would get into a girls heart. Some back story so this makes some sense: I didn't have a lot friends, I had very little contact with girls, and the girls I did have contact with picked on me because I was an easy target and too nice. So here's the ladder:

  1. Make friends with girl.
  2. Make girl like me as friend.
  3. Do and say nice things to girl in hope she starts to like me more than a friend.
  4. Ask girl out.
  5. Fail in an awkward cringe-worthy manner.

Each step on the ladder was an imaginary milestone that I thought had significance in a girls mind. This essentially was my AFC way of building attraction. Over a really long time. Obviously, this way of thinking is just terrible, but I figured I'd post about it because it's a mentality I had trouble recognizing until today. That's all I have to really say on the topic.

This idea came to me while I was preparing a speech for my public speaking course. I decided to do my informative speech on what a PUA is. To shed light on the self help side of Seddit. If you guys are interested in seeing my speech I can post the YouTube link after I present today. (My teacher records all important the speeches.)
