Usually I'll be working a group and get "in" and be accepted in the group..everyone will be laughing and in good spirits until that ONE random person from the group says something like..."who is this guy?"

Sometimes its genuine..sometimes its just bitchy. And people start laughing but not really in a mean way. I dislike it because it reminds everyone that I am not part of the "official" group. People who don't care will start to notice in their heads because someone pointed out..and from there it's just sheepish mentality.

I just ignored it and said something stupid like I'm batman

This was in a daygame setting. Anyway how do I deal with this? It's a pretty dick move and I was unphased but I dislike how it reminds everyone of something they didn't intitially care about or notice.
