I decided to retract what I originally wrote to make a little bit of a statement. I feel like some of these posts, I'm not saying OP is one of them, are inspired by someone who ends up getting lucky for the first time in a while and then decides to post on here about how all it takes is a "smile" or something else minimal to get laid because they are in the middle of a post-hookup euphoria where they feel like anything and everything is possible. I'm not saying that isn't a good feeling to have, confidence through the roof is always great but, let's remember that it's more about etching yourself into a well-rounded individual who knows what moves to make and when. It's not just 'a big smile' and your in.

I'm hoping what you say is true about the ugly ducklings thing. There's this girl in the dorm I live in at my university who was formerly quite fat but now shes probably top 3 hottest girls in the dorm. I plan to try my game on most of the hot girls once my exams are over which is in about 2 weeks :D.

After a while it's really true that you do begin to see queues and girls you once thought you had no chance with are possible to attain. If I had to describe PUA in a metaphorical way I'd say going into PUA approaching a girl was a huge blur. As I went in on opens and such it was hard to tell weather I'd get away with what I was saying and such but now I can be almost certain what and what not is gonna fly and all the girls responses seem so much more expected. Youtube channels like Simple Pick Up initially really opened my eyes as to what you can get away with saying to girls you hardly know. Now I don't really think of PUA as meticulous planning and such but rather just reading signals and having enough experience to know how to avoid overdoing a situation.

tl;dr: After a while you just generally know what girls like in guys and it doesn't feel like game.

Smiling is important, but saying it gets you 85%in is ludicrous. IMO this is a huge oversimplification.
