FOM = female on male

Whenever you bring up the subject of FOM violence and how it occurs much more often than many realize and is often underreported, I also hate it when misandrists will use the argument that there's a difference between FOM and MOF, and how the former doesn't have the same impact, severity, scale, etc. as the latter and isn't as pressing an issue. I mean WTF, so that's supposed to excuse instances of FOM violence and make people just shrug it off? Which is basically what society collectively does as is. Violence against anybody committed by anybody regardless of gender is no less devastating and traumatizing. Not every man is tall and musclebound, and likewise not every woman is small and scrawny. Both genders are capable of extraordinary physical feats and can inflict horrendous violence against anybody. Even if some women on average might not be as tall or physically strong as men, it doesn't marginalize the violence they can still inflict or make them any less deadly or threatening.

I hate so much when this argument is used. Not only does it downplay the reality of FOM violence, it tries to marginalize it and not make it a big deal. They just can't stand when FOM gets any sort of attention and when the fact that women are just as violent and dangerous as men gets brought up. As is, Amber Heard supporters were using this argument. It's doubly screwed up and downright evil when they also want to deflect from the fact children including boys also suffer female violence.
