Isn't it primarily men who have kept women out of the military? Even in this sub people get angry about the thought of women in combat MOS-es.

Also, you fail to consider women casualties of war as civilians. Which is a significant amount.

I'm kind of concerned with average sentencing by gender, as it sounds similar to the earnings gap. Is this for the same crimes, or are men more likely to commit crimes that warrant higher sentencing? Maybe use the egregiously higher incarceration rate instead.

True, but why identify yourself with a political movement unless you want to be perceived as having the same views as it's loudest voices or largest numbers? It just leads to the constant "not all feminists are like that" argument, or "true feminists believe in equality". It doesn't have to be a centralised identity, because that leads to the dogmatic indoctrination and recruitment we see in feminism ("if you believe in equality, you're a feminist"). The MRM can be seen as a centralised movement, but by tagging yourself as an MRA you are choosing to identify with everything that goes along with it - not that you necessarily believe it all, but it's loudest voices are what you're willingly grouping yourself in with.

Without tying directly to either point, this discussion reminds me of a joke:

We can never let the loudest voices win though. Often the loudest one are the worst. We also have to remember to hear the other voices when listening to another group. I know that not all feminists are not those that seen to simply hate men. Unfortunately we have a state where the media reports the loudest voices but that doesn't mean we meet them win.

So feminists create a new group. Woman's rights activists. You have sensible woman fighting for real issues. More woman start relating as WRAs instead of feminists. Until those feminists are seen as the bad guys and WRA seen as the good. Things are good but then Feminists start saying they are WRAs (as they believe they are doing good too) and we end up at square one. We need to educate people to see the real issues. Encourage those with the right idea to speak louder. That's the long term solution.

There are no similarities whatsoever between MRA's and feminists. Feminists have a powerful lobby and have successfully defeated legislation that would give equal rights to men -- such as equal parenting. MRA's have never passed, let alone advocated, legislation that would curtail female rights.

Feminist campaigns are funded by groups like JP Morgan and the Council on Foreign Relations; MRA's have zero voice in government and hold meetings in broken down buildings in Detroit.

Feminism does not challenge traditional gender roles -- they reinforce the notion of female as helpless victim and male as oppressor/disposable workhorse/chivalric good guy ("HeforShe", men can't be raped, we should abolish women's prisons etc.) MRA's reject chivalry and believe women should be responsible for their actions.

Feminists are anti-science, claiming that gender is a social construct and rejecting (eg) studies showing parity with male victims of domestic violence and rape. MRA's are pro-science.

Feminists are the establishment, funded in the billions. MRA's are progressive. You can always tell a real dissident movement by how much pushback it receives. Feminists have always been coddled by elites; MRA's are opposed and maligned at every turn.
