Being with a provider is also a biological desire for women, and they are obviously willing to forgo a six pack for somebody with money or power, especially in a world where they are not constantly in danger.

In an evolutionary lense women who chose high status, power, and prowess men passed on their genes because those men were able to protect and provide for her offspring hence her genes of choosing those men was passed on. And women who chose weak men did not get to pass on those genes of choosing weak men because their children have died.

Men who didn’t choose for high fertility woman didn’t had kids and his genes of choosing those women also ended with him.

I'd imagine women would be focused on fertility too if that was really the case. Doesn't make sense for only one side to care about it, but the other to think "protection" is most important.

Men are indeed very drawn to specific looks in a woman, because those reflect her reproductive health and ability. Slim women have better pregnancies, large breasts are associated with fertility, the butt contains a fat that is crucial in the brain development of a baby, hip to waist ratio (child bearing hips) is important in how easy a pregnancy will be. A woman's hair, lips and skin also reflect her overall health and access to good nutrition and micronutrients.

On the other hand, women seem to have a wider variety of male bodies they are attracted to. Physical strength is what's important but more so is a man's relative power and authority. Women are often drawn to men in uniform, because the uniform represents authority. Dozens of women will line up backstage to get a chance to suck Mick Jagger's dick although he is a twig. And on and on.

if we wanna look at this from a strictly evolutionary term, both are loosely based in truth but miss the mark.

Ie. before we understood the negative impacts of being fat, overweight women were viewed as the most fertile because it was a mark that they could eat enough to support the baby (now, whether they were viewed as attractive or not? that’s a whole other story - seeing that wealthy men and nobles loved their curvy prostitutes) - and wealthy men became viewed as attractive because wealth meant a sustained lifestyle and constant protection. A strong poor man may physically protect his family, but a weak rich man is constantly protected (at least, historically)

Now, the redpill takes a fact like this and uses it to justify disliking fat women (which… you don’t need to justify it or insult them for it, just say they aren’t your type and move on) while also justifying the alpha chad persona they’re selling. Of course, being strong and being able to protect is important, don’t get me wrong, but the intent of the RP using it isn’t exactly noble

Everyone likes an attractive person. What makes people more physically attractive is historically due to biology only, what appears to be the best generic makeup on the outside to bear offspring. Women that’s slender shoulders, some breast for less complications for breastfeeding, some hips and glutes to be able to squat and push out a child.

Women like whatever they want, however in our current society, money and status provides a higher chance for being chosen as a person to raise a family in an environment which doesn’t have struggle.

Yes and no. Muscles and a nice body is a good thing, but it’s not a requirement. However the other side of the coin is to be given a chance to even have fun/practice procreation because it feels good and is fun, you have to meet some kind of physical attraction criteria.

Men are attracted to women that are usually perceived as higher status symbols to other men. The women have nothing to do with it. If they did, their approaches would be totally different than the clownshow that is social media. It's the worldview that having a certain type of woman by your side gives you a social status increase. Men tend to "respect" other men that are perceived as higher on the pecking order than themselves(aka someone that has what they desire to have).

The whole body count jazz is simply men holding a less accessible woman in higher esteem than a more accessible one because they see it as a challenge to get with her. And a man that is successful at getting with a less accessible woman is perceived as a better man than others. If a man really liked women, then the thoughts of other men wouldn't matter because he likes her and that's all that matters to him.

Women like men that are liked by other women. Being liked is more important in a woman's mind than being higher/lower status. If a man has the affections of a woman, there must be some "interesting qualities" about him(aka matching desires, goals, worldview, etc) that she likes about him. The person that is more liked than others is held in higher esteem than a person that is more powerful(violent) or respected(able to use large amounts of violence via influence). In most women's minds matching is relating/connecting/bonding.

No one said that. Women absolutely care about a man's body, and we have studies to prove it. A man's body also plays a role in his status and ability to accrue resources anyways.

Women did evolve to select men for protection. However, women also need and seek other things out of men. Sexual, economic, and social capital are all important to women, and depending on the woman and environment, different women will place different weights on each. Women also do like big muscular men.
