There is also the RP argument that treating women like they are all like that is just a safety precaution. I would argue many women would bail on being treated as AWALT. This will, at best, select for women who respond to that treatment or, at worst, end marriages with women who respond poorly to it.

I'm purple and I agree with the idea of "AWALT" , I disagree with how TRP's apply it in their arguments against women. For instance, assuming all women will cheat/have cheated because of Hypergammy. That's not what AWALT says or means, but that's what some RPs make it out to be.

Another thing is, when people take "AWALT" to mean "AMANLT" (all men are not like that). I often times see the misconception that emotional thinking/ruling is limited to female nature, even though I see lots of men (especially on TRP) use their emotions with a vauge sense of rationalizations atop to drive their choices.

So for me you're missing that "AWALT" is just something TRPs made up and each of them will have their own different inrerpretations of it and not always understand what it truly "means". Also it denies that men have the same propensities as women to behave certain ways.

It sort of buffs up the male ego and makes them think they're better than woman because they do not have that in their natures, but that's not what it's meant to do. It's not great at achieving what its meant to do.

My problem with AWALT is that there is no one way that all women are. There just isn't. And treating every woman the same is a recipe for disaster.

The response to this from Red Pillers is usually something along the lines of, "all women have the potential to be this way, treat every gun like it is loaded." This is a stupid argument. We don't go around assumming the worst of every person we meet just because some humans are pieces of shit. "Hey look, that guy kidnapped 3 women, kept them in chains, and raped them every day for 10 years. AMALT! I will assume every guy I meet has a basement dungeon!" It is ridiculous.

You're missing "most of the women I know are not like that". AWALT generally takes the extreme behaviour of a minority of women and presents it as the norm. So there may be generalizations out there, but these ones are incorrect.

AWALT is not about women all behaving in the exact same way all the time, it's about them all having the same drives/sexual imperative, which will inevitably predict certain aspects of their behavior. For instance, not all women will cheat on their partners, and not all women will go for big, muscular men, and not all women will even be interested in men at all. Their core drives and motivations are all the same however, although I'm aware that what you define as 'core' is quite subjective. You could say instead that their sexual imperative is always the same. AWALT is only true for healthy women though.

I just think it's really inaccurate, tbh. It's not the fact that generalizations are being made, it's that they're so off-base.

Or sometimes the observation of a surface behaviour may be correct but then the explanation of what motivates that behaviour is just bizarre and unnecessarily sexist.

So, take the fact that women like to sleep with attractive, muscular men. Yeah, sure. On the whole, that's a reasonable generalisation to make. BUT THEN. TRP is like, 'she wants to sleep with the alpha cock to get him to commit his alpha cock resources to her, fo sho' and I'm like...O_O.

No, she's just horny and wants to sleep with the hot dude because he's hot.

I think the AWALT generalisations observe surface behaviour reasonably well but miss really badly when it comes to explaining what motivates that behaviour.

I think AWALT is ok to use as a crutch for someone who's been hurt many times before and wants to protect himself. However, that person must also know that realistically, there ARE a huge number of women who are not like that. And technically, the main problem with AWALT is that whoever is using it as a mantra to protect himself may keep good women away with his distrustful behavior. So I guess it's either behave according to NAWALT and risk getting screwed over, or act according to AWALT and risk driving away the woman who would not have screwed you over and instead risk getting with the one who might but when she does you'll expect nothing else from her. Not entirely sure whether any option really sounds better.

IME, women are not like the way redpillers describe them. I mean, I don't think the redpillers are lying, just that they're acting in a way that causes people to behave badly or that they happen to be in a social circle full of shitty women.
