<3 He's basically nesting. Our wedding is next month and we've talked about starting a family within the next year. So he's been in super provider mode: looking at new (4-door) cars, interviewing for (6 figure) jobs, talking about what kind of house we should buy and what we should name the kids. Before we got engaged, I knew he was responsible with money, but I had no idea just how much he had saved up in preparation for our future.

I'm so glad you posed this question. I've been wanting to gush about it because it absolutely melts my heart that he is in family-making mode both financially and mentally. I think my family thinks we're just scraping by because we're keeping our wedding small and possibly not even taking a honeymoon (since we don't know how soon we'll have to move for his job).

He is such a hardworking and dedicated man, A actual man, man.. a little old fashion - same as me. He takes care of his family and has good values. He is also Hot as hell and ... lets just say our bedroom life is pretty darn good.

He has the most warped/awful sense of humour. I love it.

Seeing my husband as a father is so amazing! He's so attentive to us both, and I'm so grateful. It truly melts my heart. Last night I caught him singing a little made-up song to our boy. He turned around and was like, "uh oh buddy! Mommy's not supposed to hear our secret song!" Cracked me up :)

Oh. My. Goodness. Ladies. I'm honestly so in love with my husband right now. We have only been married for two years, but he's taken so much initiative to build our lives and family together. We've bought property, a house, and he's moved my mother into his old condo so we can care for her more readily. He's STILL planning more, and he works so hard! I honestly have never been happier, my parents and grandparents ADORE him, and he's so hot. (Seriously, I feel that good kind of pressure to keep up with him because he's just getting more attractive.)

I could do this for days but honestly he's the best husband I could ever hope for and I am so excited to spend my life with him.

SO is the master of surprises- big and small. Goofy and romantic. He picks up on such tiny details about things, it's unbelievable. Everything from sending me a particular flower because I pointed it out when we visited a botanical garden to working on my car while I was trying out a new bubble bath I recieved for Christmas.

He's also is so amazing with babies and kids. We had a lot of fun over the holidays with his family. We're up to 3 nephews and 1 niece all under the age of 6. He was a complete gentleman when he attended a "tea party" in the living room with his niece. But I really melted when he was playing the "spoon is an airplane" with the youngest (10 months). Or now that I think of it, anytime he was doing anything baby related, I melted. I think he is going to be a fantastic dad someday and can't wait to have a family with him.

My boyfriend pushes through all difficulties by himself yet still treats me like gold and still strives to be a better man. He always checks up on me to make sure I'm OK and he's always there to console me on my worries. He's my protector and not to mention he's sexy as hell physically and he just makes me melt whenever he looks at me, even when he's just laying in bed on his phone he's so sexy. I'm getting turned on just writing this haha! I can't believe such an amazing man chose to be with me!!!

Edit: Just had a memory when my boyfriend's obnoxious 34yo career woman business partner invited us to a club (she paid for a $1000 private table for a group of friends because she's super rich). She dressed obnoxiously fancy in luxury Italian brands (she and my boyfriend are Italian) and was trying to be funny and loud at the table and rousing everyone to dance, basically acting like a frat boy, and her boyfriend wasn't paying ANY attention to her. He literally just sat on the couch while she danced by herself and there was no effort from him to be a couple with her. However, my boyfriend was the perfect gentleman to me - he poured me my drink and led me dancing the whole night. Beat that, career woman!

My relationship is also very new. But he's THE BEST. Today it was pouring, and he insisted holding the umbrella over us. He wouldn't let me get out of the car until he let me out himself with the umbrella overhead. ^_^ (This is not something I'm used to.)

Something awesome he accomplished (I guess it was no difficult feat for him, but our friends seemed to appreciate it greatly!) was putting together (emulating?) an old Nintendo system using Raspberry Pi. It goes over my head a little, but his good friends have enjoyed it tons, and played an old Mario game on it for hours. He called it a success. *\o/*

B is literally the funniest person I have ever met - I totally believe he should be a stand-up comedian. Almost everything is a joke to him, and it really makes everything seem easier even when things are tough.

He is great at taking charge of our future, too. He has grown our savings by a ton, which is allowing us to take our second vacation abroad together in March and buy a new house by the end of the year.

He is super understanding, too. I used to have a problem with sharing my problems with him because I did not want to bring him down or upset him - I stopped doing that a while back and am totally open with him now, and it has made me feel so much safer and more comfortable.

I love watching him play with his nephews - they pile up on him and he grabs them up and holds them upside down while they scream and it's hilarious. He's so great at being quiet with them too, like when the little one is getting sleepy and just wants to snuggle in and watch cartoons.

This might be a weird thing to brag about, but we were talking in bed the other night and he was telling me about how if anything bad happened to me, he probably go on a murderous rampage. All the murder! Bodies that would never be found!

Naturally, I swooned. I mean so much to him that he would abandon the normal life he lives for the darker instincts he keeps deep under ravels because he loves me.

i am so proud of him because he is now a published scientist! it was a big moment of pride for him, and it's left him feeling SO good about himself that it has trickled down into other things. he's such the good type of nerd.

I was just thinking about this today. I can't say enough about how genuine R is as a person. He's so kind, caring, and thoughtful..but always bold and low tolerance of nonsense.

I love the way he treats my friends. He's so willing to get to know them and their partners. I love how he fosters friendships with the attitude these people will be in his life forever, and demonstrates the same mentality when he introduces me to his friends. I think one of the coolest things that has come from this is R's best friend and his wife are now amazing friends with my best friend and her husband-to-be. I love that his best couple friend and my best couple friend hang out without us! I think it's so cool how our groups have intermingled.

I could rave about R myself all day, but nothing is a better testament to how wonderful he is than any time my friends or family brag about him. It warms my heart every time I hear someone talk about him - It's difficult to be someone who doesn't take any shit, yet nobody has a bad thing to say about you..yet he does it effortlessly. I really admire how authentically likable he is.

He has this way of being tender at unexpected moments and it just makes me melt :') He's really knowledgable and has cool interests and it's so nice being able to tag along and experience new things! And he has hot muscular arms (and legs), first time I saw him in a fitted t-shirt I had to almost stop myself from fanning myself LOL

Okay, time to brag about the J-man. This list, needless to say/like all of ours, is incomplete! :)

He built his own frames to stretch some canvas prints over. Like he just figured out how to do it himself. And then we stretched and stapled them. We did this in the warehouse space where he runs his own business. He is so smart and competent and hard-working. Seeing your man operate a power saw and a staple gun like it's nothing? Hot.
He is so damn funny. A good blend of "makes really clever jokes" and "says stuff without trying to be funny that makes me laugh until I cry." He's also very playful and goofy and will do just about anything to make me laugh.
He's so supportive. Being a runner is a huge part of my identity. He's not a runner. And yet he always listens when I want to talk about my run/training, he massages sore muscles, etc. Most amazing of all: when I race, I'm out on the course for 10+ hours, and he crews for me all day. He never complains or begs off. He is there for me. Crossing the finish line and stumbling into his arms is the most amazing feeling. He's the best, you guys.
He is strong AF. Dude has got some muscle. Paired with a big smile and curly hair? I am slain (and easily seduced).
He's such a good listener!

So many things make him amazing... The things I appreciate the most:

He's not about the big romantic gestures. He shows that he loves and appreciates me in little ways, every day.

When he wakes up before me, He shuts off my alarm and wakes me up by bringing me coffee in bed.

He always compliments my cooking, even when I think it didn't turn out perfectly.

He looks for ways for both of us to improve, and works on himself without being asked. It inspires me to be better.

He is a solver of problems, and builds the electronic brains to all my mechanical stuff. There's not a programming problem which he can't find a solution to!

He is my favorite person to talk to, always a reasonable and logical sounding board. He understands argumentation ethics and is a true rationalist. He is always reading and trying out new ideas.

He's extremely intelligent. He has more than a few "forgetful genius" traits and always appreciates that I can help him find his keys, and all the other things he misplaced.

He buys the best coffee and wine and is a bit of a connoisseur.

He doesn't allow me to dwell on the negative or make myself miserable.

We don't have "sacred cows"... We can talk about anything without it turning into a fight.

He is an extremely unapologetic man, always direct. He doesn't sugar coat anything. There is no guessing or games.

We have complimentary skill sets. He leads, we work as a team, and we are unstoppable in what we can accomplish together.

I got a bit grumpy on the weekend because he planned to go scuba diving on the day I'd planned for us to drive a few hours to my dad's house and have a family dinner.

I love that he's passionate about his hobbies (even if they make me nervous), and that he always keeps me in the loop so I know where he's going, who he'll be with, and what time I can expect to hear from him.

He stuck to his guns and went diving, then drove all the way up to see us straight after his dive. He arrived in time for dinner, all salty and tired and sore but still managed to be social and charming as always. I love that he loves my family and that they love him.

In the end everything worked out great and everybody got what was important to them. I realised I was getting worked up over nothing, and need to trust that he'll figure it out - just like he always does.

The next day he was chatting to an old friend on the phone telling him about our new place and our plans and what we'd been up to recently and told his friend "seriously, things are great. this is the happiest I've ever been." My heart just swelled up and I feel so, so lucky. He's given me the opportunity to share a life with him, and to think that I've been such a positive addition for him makes my head spin.

I love how he's stubborn and how he likes to do things his own way, but he's never reckless or unreasonable. He's hardworking, dedicated and responsible. People trust and respect him, he's just really good with people in general.

He's a great musician and when people we know need someone to do something music related he's the first person they ask. He can sing really wel and he has a really sexy, manly voice.

He's an amazing boyfriend; he's really sweet and caring and protective, but he also doesn't take any sh*t from me. He's absolutely amazing in bed.

He's great with animals, they are always very calm around him. Even my cat likes him enough to sleep on his lap, and she dislikes/is scared of nearly everyone other than me and my mother.

I love that he's old fashioned, and doesn't care what people think, but does what he thinks is right/best, he makes me feel really safe. I once rang the police because a burglar alarm was going off further down the street and the operator suggested that I go and look to see if burglars were there! The next day he went to the police station to yell at them over suggesting a (pregnant) woman do something so stupid.

Recently he's been planning about building work on the house and checking finances to decide when stuff will happen so we have more space to (hopefully) have another baby, and I love how he gets very in-charge and determined when he's doing stuff like that, talking to builders and you can see him getting them on-side.

Also, he's very pretty, I still fall for him again after 9 years together :)

My husband recently switched jobs. He totally nailed the technical interview, and managed to negotiate his salary to get what he wanted. I am so proud of him!

Also, our big project this year is having a dog. He used to be more of a cat person, but now when I see him interact with dogs it melts my heart. He acts in such a cute way with them!
