Yep she has a newborn baby...apparently she's supposed to run herself ragged working full time with a newborn even though her husband can clearly provide for the family on his own.

Men (and jealous pickmes) will find one reason or another to hate us. If she was working, they'd call her a terrible mother for not being there for her baby in early infancy.

Some men see child rearing as "hanging out with your kids all day". And it just goes to show men don't know shit about childrearing and think it's just social activity.

No concept of discipline, education, emotional regulation, teaching a young child about how the world works. You have to be on mommy mode all day, talking like a kid and relating to kid things, while giving up on your own interests and hobbies as childrearing takes over.

On top of this, the woman cooks, cleans, manages the household social and admin calendars, does laundry and puts out any domestic fires that pop up.

It's disgusting how these LV men continue to devalue a woman's contribution to the household, and don't even step up to help out (except "hanging out" with their kids 🙄). Do not procreate with LV. Think of your future children seeing that as an example and remember your self-respect.

Most people start working outside of the house at 16. Men need to stop pretending that doing something literal children are expected of is some courageous or heroic act. They're sitting at their desk typing in excel and browsing reddit while whining that men have to work in coal mines all day while wife is lazy at home AKA does literally everything else to keep them and their children alive and their house livable. IMHO to make a joke about your spouse stressing over work/providing while you daydream about trivial matters is in poor taste. Can you imagine if the genders here were reversed?? It wouldn't be ANY less distasteful. HOWEVER, that is not to say that she deserves that kind of backlash, harassment, and even worse the insults to her innocent child. That's outright deplorable.

I've been both a SAHM and a working 60/hrs a week mother. Neither is easy but I can tell you which one I'd prefer if I had the choice. Unfortunately my husband is a great guy but not the highest earner and I more or less have to work- whether I want to or not. Maybe just quietly enjoy your socio-economic win, lady. No need to rub it in anyone's face.

When the reality is THIS IS TRADITIONAL GENDER ROLES. The man providing, doing the work, doing the heavy lifting, the bill paying, the figuring it out, and the woman sitting back, tending to her own energy and the energy of any children they have.
