I think that unless a man has proven to be LV, his image should not be used in a disparaging way. I didn't know who this is but commenters say he is an editor of Wikipedia and the reason he lives with his parents still is because he is their caregiver. A lot of judging on looks goes on here. I think we need to steer back to focusing on people's character.

This is so mean and unnecessary. Posting pictures of people who mind their own business and don't bother anyone just so you can mock their appearance is low value behaviour. The man in the pic has made a ton of positive contributions, for example when it comes to the way women on Wikipedia are treated.

Why on earth would you, as a HVW, want to copy such behaviour? If you want to mock the appearance of "bad" men (violent, misogynistic, manipulative etc.), use a picture of a man who actually is known for being a horrible person.

Ouch, this guy is actually really cool and while he isn’t perfect, I really don’t think he’s low value. He’s clearly intelligent and able to contribute positively to his community. He’s got different priorities than I do but that’s totally okay.

This post doesn’t reflect too well on this sub if we’re just gonna pick on dudes for looks :/

I think there are men who look like this who are good people. But if you're just going by looks, a random man who looks like this (if you don't know anything else about them), well... this man can easily lose 50 lbs and look fine.

This might be controversial, but I don't think anyone, male or female, should be overweight or underweight if they can help it. It's not healthy to be overweight or underweight. If you fall outside the BMI range, you need to do something about your health. I know a lot of people don't like to hear that, but it is medically irresponsible not to look after yourself. If you can't lose weight because of a hormonal issue, you need to see an endocrinologist. It is not even an attractiveness thing, it is a health thing.

Anyway, this man is not ugly (in my opinion), he is just overweight. I don't know why. Could be a health thing.

The last person to say this to me had multiple felonies, wasn't paying child support and hadn't seen his son in over a year. Also, to quote someone who knew both of us "He's only thirty-five? He needs to drink more water."

All of it is low value men projecting. High value men have no problem with my standards.
