29 isn’t old when you’re married and have kids. Women I know who married younger and successfully, at 29, life was just getting started. They had a ton to look forward to. Their kids growing up. Family adventures. Seeing their finances constantly improving and getting closer to that dream home. They’re on track.

But for finding a husband, 29 is old. If you’re not in a relationship that could lead to marriage by then, you’ve made things infinitely harder.

And if you’ve only dated douche bags, that tells me that it’s the kind of men that you like. I think it was Kevin Samuels who told his female listeners "look at the best man in your friendzone: that's the best you will ever get to commit to you". There's a lot of truth to that statement. The guys in your friendzone adore you not because you're the absolute best, most awesome female in the whole wide world. You're simply the best woman that guy feels he has even a small chance of ever landing, and is therefore willing to commit to you. But trust me, even the most bluepilled orbiter you have, if some Victoria's Secret model offered to be his girlfriend, he'd forget your name in 2 seconds.

Anyone who has options better than you will not commit to you. They might pump and dump you, or maybe use you as a rebound, or a slumpbuster, or maybe just when they're drunk and making bad decisions. But they will not commit. Why should they if they have better options?

It's even worse than that though: given how much of a woman's attractiveness to guys is tied to her youth and beauty, even her friendzone orbiters slowly decline in quality. A woman's best orbiters come in high school through the immediate post-college years. For 2 reasons: 1) 18-25 is the peak for a woman's physical attractiveness, so that's when the quality of guys she attracts is highest. 2) Guys at the same age are more likely to be naive and fall into her friendzone. By the time most guys are in their 30s, they're wise enough to avoid it. Even if they're not full-on redpill, they're not as easy to manipulate as younger men.

I would bet good money that she actually now would be willing to settle down with one of her *former* orbiters. She probably remembers a few guys from high school or college who now have great careers and blossomed into desirable men but have much better prospects than her. And even perhaps a few guys who haven't gotten much better, but were decent men to begin with. But even they got tired of waiting regardless and moved on too. Those were her best orbiters. If she has any left, they're probably not nearly as good as even the orbiters of a few years ago.

So in the end, I actually kinda believe her that no one wants to commit to her. Not the douchebags she dates and still desires. But not even the billy betas who used to be in her friendzone. Even that dries up as you get older. If she wants commitment now, she'll have to go even further down the desirability scale. Which will never happen.
