As a 7'10, supremely well endowed and EXTREMELY handsome gentleman (I can't stress this enough), I have to say that I do struggle to identify with the dating experience of most people (man or woman).

But joking aside, as a male I think it's fair to say that it can be difficult to fully appreciate what it's like to date as a woman (of course the opposite can be said as well).

However, I've got a particular kink (it's fairly tame, and no it's not feet lol, it ain't that Strong) and I'm part of several Facebook groups related to it.

Additionally I've recently started listening to a podcast that's been created by a couple that both share the same kink, and they discuss it and their experiences (it's...it's not as weird as it sounds I promise, or maybe it is? Please don't judge me....abeg).

So, reader, you might be asking yourself? RP99, where tf are you going with this you weirdo?

Ha! A good question indeed! And well, it's been quite eye opening being part of this community because it's allowed me to see first hand the way men interact with women and I have to be honest....it's pretty crazy.

I've seen women join one of the groups and post just one photo and they get a barrage of honestly...just bizarre comments; like the guys are really wildin in there and so many women have been scared away because the comments are so upfront and some of them make even me feel uncomfortable (yes the untouchable roastpork99 made uncomfortable by a mere mortal, unbelievable as it is; it's true).

Additionally in one of the podcast episodes (you know the podcast I talked about just above), they were discussing the way men would hit up the woman in her DMs and how guys would get really upset if they left a message and didn't get replies instantly. Some guys would send unsolicited pictures related to the kink and not only that, it'd be the incessant nature of their messages, one after another; asking about the woman's location, can they meet up (even though she's taken), how they are gonna find her, can they play with her, can they eat her out etc etc, and she said this would be the case for the majority of the men.

Her partner corroborated this because he also got messages from men thinking that he was the woman (rofl), and it was the same persistent and frankly quite unnerving pattern of messages.

I mean, it's not all negative; some of the guys do contact and are relaxed and just hit her up for a casual conversation which she said she enjoyed participating in.

It's funny because as a guy in this community it's actually quite difficult to "get the attention of women", for lack of a better phrase, and it some ways it mirrors the wider non-kink dating "market" so to speak.

I do think it's only fair to point out that things are exacerbated in this community because the kink is quite rare and so the men are definitely more "thirsty" especially as we seem to outnumber the women, at least in the groups I've been in.

All of that said, this has made me appreciate what women go through whilst dating in a general sense, because although the approaches probably aren't as aggressive (or maybe they are?), women still get a lot of unsolicited messages and I suppose it can be a constant barrage of potentially creepy, never-ending and genuinely scary messages especially if a woman puts herself out there as available.

Look don't get me wrong, it does suck as a guy as you don't get the attention and more easily available options, but I don't know if I'd really want to have to deal with such overbearing, persistent and scary attention.

Anyway...I've rambled on a lot and I feel like I started to lose the point I was trying to make but erm I'd be interested to hear your opinions.
