The most noticeable difference is overweight/obese women treated like they're precious goddesses, while not-chad-muscular but fit men (say, bicyclists or runners) are treated like they're born that way, nothing special, and "you couldn't gain a pound no matter how much you eat! metabolism!"

We know that's bullshit though, because the US is at almost 3/4 and that was before the pandemic, so any slim person is way, way above average if you have to look at them naked

I watched a study which showed that on average women would judge handsome men harshly more often than men judged women. Both men and women were asked to rate people based only of attractiveness, and women rated most "average" men between 2 and 4, and rated only men higher if they looked extremely handsome or wealthy. However, this is a product of evolution not feminism. The entire reason a meritocracy even exists is because women value wealth over looks.

I think we are just in an age where the old rules no longer apply.

Once women used sex to secure a partner, now that is no longer the case.

Now the most attractive men get a lot of no strings sex but refuse to commit because they have too many options and most average men struggle to get dates.

Now many women have sex with the most attractive men but don't realise they will never keep a relationship with them but are not interested in more average men.

I'm sure the pendulum will keep swinging and 1 day it may even settle to somewhere in the middle but it won't be for a few generations imho.

Male wants to protect female, and female wants to be protected. Evolution has played along, for example, females exhibit "childlike" markers to increase their chances of being seen as needing protection.

Whatever forces motivate the individual express on the cultural plane as well. Thusly, society attempts to protect females. And the feminine aspect of society constantly demonstrates and underscores the need to be protected.

These forces influence everything they touch. And they touch everything.

Here in this subreddit, we notice the pathologies that result. We are right to do so, and to order our lives accordingly. We move in the direction of greater consciousness. Society trails far behind, and even runs the other way, hating the light of introspection. The women who defend these inanities (body positivity, preference to form harems around Chad males, "I feel unsafe" unless you are hot, etc) are just amplifying the song all around us, and taking their cue from the culture, eschewing any self reflection. (I realize some men defend these ideas too, and they are the saddest of creatures).

Each individual man and woman is sovereign over their consciousness. Each can leave this maze save go on alone. And find each other. A woman can be safely protected and loved if she hates hypocrisy. A man can be looked up to if he wants to be worth looking up to. There is a virtuous cycle in there, utterly unknown inside the cultural maze. They call it love, but dishonour it, and prevent it's formation with their antics.

I moved away from the west about 4 years ago, and the difference in how I was / am treated by women (Like ALL women, not just the locals) was immediate and PROFOUND.

There's literally NOTHING DIFFERENT about me, but the difference in attitude and perception that women have towards me is insane!

Guys, if you live in a country like America, England, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand, I highly recommend checking out ANY other culture, and you will be pleasantly surprised that women will treat you with as much dignity and respect that they would any other group of people.

Part of it is that it’s not difficult for a woman to look good: just put on some makeup, and get a good haircut, and maybe diet, but men have to get a haircut, workout, diet, shave and use hair products daily, be tall, have good hair and height genetics, have an exceptional outfit, and use acne medication on the daily just to look “average.” Another thing is that “average” for men is probably in the top10%

Someone posted a poll recently where women rated the attractiveness of men on a scale of 1-5. No man got a 5 and pretty much all them were rated around a 1 or 2. In the same poll, men rated women and the result was a perfect bell-curve, as you would expect. Bizarre.

Funny thing is, in data that IS NOT a poll, this sort of bizarre data disappears. Like behavior on dating websites, etc. So it’s almost as if when asked to rate men publicly, women feel compelled to be extremely critical. Does this not fit exactly with the times?

Edit: It’s social pressure. Women are to support other women and tear men down whenever and however they can.

They may not date her but most men will sleep with someone well below their league. It's nature. Men are designed to view women more favorably to increase the chance of reproduction. Women are hypergamous. A large percentage of men throughout history never reproduced. Instead of selecting a partner within their league, women were willing to share the top men. Those men have always had their pick. None of this has changed because of feminism.
