Sorry - people are conflating this picture specifically with child separation when I fell the issue they're trying to point out is immigration overall is an issue with Trump and this cover is just a representation of that issue. When the photo was first published every source I saw said the mother was just being searched by the BP, likely for the safety of the officers just as any person would be when they're being taken into custody. I never ever saw anyone say that this specific child was being separated from her mother.

The media absolutely despises Trump. They will say whatever they want to get him out. It could actually become counter-productive.
