I was at a neighborhood community center last week with my kid, and a few other moms were there with their toddlers. The toddlers were all boys.

One mom was loudly and dramatically talking about how devastated she was when she found out she was having a boy because she wanted to raise a strong feminist girl and she was now tasked with teaching a boy her feminist values.

I had to leave at that point.

What universe is this witch living in? It just never ends, does it? I can't think of a single thing that boys "get" before girls. In fact, when I think about it, girls are and have always been treated better than boys.

I don't like to use the cliched "If I were there..." stuff but honestly, well, yeah, if I were there I would have told her that no, actually, it's "boys only" time right now and if there'd been a change then she would have to take it up with city hall as I couldn't see any signs restricting either sex from playing wherever they fucking wanted to in a fucking playground.

I honestly think that there is nothing wrong with boy-only or girls-only activities, groups and clubs. The problem is that when boys make such an arragement, their space needs to be invaded and have women included, but women only spaces are sacrosanct.

What is the reason for a girls only playtime? There are some biological differences and preferences that boys and girls naturally have, but whenever my son plays with my neighbors daughter, neither seem to care if they are playing trucks, tag, wrestling, all the way to coloring, bubbles or giving hugs. They just are happy to play. So fuck this bitch for excluding another child from playing.

Once a woman feels like she's a victim, it's nearly impossible to get her to acknowledge that she's not, regardless of evidence, logic, or common sense.

For some reason, nearly all women have a very real and very deep need to convince themselves that they're super special and unique. Being a victim, does two things women absolutely adore. It makes them feel special, and their victim status (whether it's even real or not, is basically irrelevant) ensures they won't really be held accountable for what they say and do.

My girlfriend has a 4 year old that loves going to parks and we both work from 7 am to 3:30, 5 days a week. We are both an hour commute so by 4:30 we pick her up and then have almost no time between household work and other stuff to go out to the closest park. If some group of parents asked us to leave because they like to have their gender specific playtime in a public park designated for everybody on our mutual day off, I will politely tell them to fuck off. That goes for gender exclusive playtimes on either end, I don’t discriminate.
