This might be completely opposite to the concept of high value you guys see in people but hear me out. High value people are just better at filtering out what matters and what doesn't in life. And act accordingly.

The only thing I disagree with is that he speaks as if everyone should follow the same standards that his HVM do.

Even when a woman asked him why men should marry, he could only come up with reasons for a HVM and the only benefit was to move up the corporate ladder. Well looks like marriage won’t be for any entrepreneurial people

The highest value men aren't over 30. They are guys who are good looking who are still in their 20s with confidence, charisma and promising careers. Once men are over 30, the highest value women in their early 20s don't want to date them anymore, although they might still be able to attract some less valuable women who are still in their 20s and who are somewhat attracted by their lifestyle.

I don't think high value is objective if cheating is obligatory to some. I would rather be alone than in a relationship where my partner not only cheats but tries to justify his cheating like this.

I call bullshit.

Most HVMs I know are careerist types and what makes them HVMs as opposed to an average loser is the fact that they were players in high school and uni so they "get" game, know to stay in shape and keep healthy social circles.

Out of these guys, the overwhelming majority only date other careerist types since they want the lifestyle and security benefits that comes from a two HIGH income household. You can take more career risks and pursue opportunities better when either partner can support the relationship should one end up unemployed for a time.

They all pretty much cheat as well, but aren't dumb about it. Usually they'll have a younger, highly attractive person they cheat with but do so subtly enough that the other person doesn't feel it. No stupid questions/ don't ask questions you don't wanna know the answer to is a big unwritten rule in all of these relationships.

I know a petrol trader who used to call his wife whenever he got back from a business trip, letting her know he's boarding his plane and he'll be home in 5 hours. He told me he's not risking his marriage over a phone call. He just assumes his wife is cheating and she does the same whenever she's back from a trip. He's pretty representative of the culture of successful, attractive young people, albeit funny because of how frank he is about it.

Guys like the dude in that video is a caricature. It's a loser's idea of what high value people are like. Kinda how Trump represents a poor's person's idea of wealth

To me personally, his takes are too extreme and all this stuff about how a mans value lies in only money, but a woman's lies only in beauty is a bit ridiculous.

A modern woman focuses on her education and her career for much of her prime years. During those early years, she does not care about a sexual partner's income.

However, when she finally decides that she actually wants a husband, in her late twenties or early thirties, a man's (lack of) income is a deal breaker.

In that sense, Kevin Samuels is right. A man's income is always the main issue when a woman wants to settle down.

A modern woman is, however, too old to attract and retain a high-income man in her late twenties or early thirties, because he prefers to have children with a much younger woman. On the other hand, she won't settle for a man with lower income either. That is why a modern woman tends to die alone.

That is almost always Kevin Samuels' conclusion: you will die alone.

His points aren’t digestible for some just off one video. I have no belief you’ll do this but if you watch more of his clips with good faith you’ll understand what he’s saying. Your points of what he considers a hvm or his stance on cheating are oversimplified and off already.

He's generally right. I disagree that all HVM cheat. I've worked in pretty elite and high paying careers, etc. I've known some men who cheat, but it's not the norm and most men who do are looked at as a liability due to poor impulse control.

I think his take is reasonable, but it wouldn't be my definition. I would consider a HVW to be one who demonstrates compatible intent via action, whose goals align with mine at the time of review, and whose attitude compliments mine, rather than attempts to be independent or over-riding, but that's how I specifically would look at it.

There are bonuses available for sure, younger ages in my experience are generally more positive and cheery, and less sarcastic or 'beaten up' from time in the work force that we all feel. Also, as the relationship ages, that dynamic will likely be retained better. The lack of monogamy thing is just a personal preference that probably shouldn't be projected on to others, though I personally feel monogamy is more successful than polygamy.

Edit: and I meant to mention that everyone prefers an attractive partner to some degree, but some folks are generally more willing to look past that for a lifestyle upgrade.

Value is kinda relative, it depends on what you want from a partner and weather you plan on it being long term or a one time thing. Some women might value money a lot while some other women don't. Different people have different feelings on cheating. It seems like the 2 people described in the post would be of high value to each other. But in my opinion none of them are high value.

It’s important to understand, his definition of a high value man is someone who makes 6 figures or more and has done for the last 5 years. For him, he talks about a 40 year old man in business, not the 25 year old steadily on their way to that, or the 20 year old athlete/ entertainer making big money
