While I cannot see the race of this poster, this kind of thing is prevalent in the black community and evokes, at least in me, the notorious Maya Angelou clip where she tells a young woman who called her by her first name to respect her by calling her “Miss Angelou” as she is her mother, teacher, sister, professor, etc. So, the phrasing simply doesn’t sit right with me.

Besides do they not see how gross it is to say that your sexual partner should transform into your mother and siblings. Yuckity yuck yuck.

The men who want female submission don't think of it as a favor women do to them, they see it as a woman's place. They will still preach about how sexually empowering female submission, maybe even about how it's such an act of kindness and virtue, or how they totally see it as women doing men a favor just so they will convince more naïve or brainwashed women into it. "It shows respect, it shows deference, it shows love" are the lies they tell women.

Speak for yourself honey. Submission doesn't come 'naturally' to me because I value my independence and demand to be treated as an equal. It might feel easy for you to accept an inferior role as a bangmaid who does everything for a man who 'treats you right' (which I presume just means 'isn't abusive') but your opinion does not represent women as a class.

Why the fuck would you want to be someone's sister in a relationship? This makes no sense.

The last LVM who was hanging around tried this sister-zoning thing with me. When I suggested stepping it up to more than friends (he was taking up so much of my time, even me from my pre-FDS days realized this was not good), he told me he just wanted to be friends and thought of me as a sister. I got so livid, I almost blocked him on the spot. This was before I even found FDS (don't worry, he's blocked now).

You do not flirt with your sister, admit you have feelings for her, buy her gifts, or hang out with her every damn day.

This goes right back to that glaring shift in expectation that men refuse to acknowledge. In the old days, you had no choice but to submit. He owned the land, the sheep, the pigs, the servants and you.
