I listened to the whole thing. It's bull shit that this woman still couldn't relate her story to men falsely accused, in fact she does just the opposite... A little past 10 minutes before the end of the audio, she compares what she went through to actresses deep-fake porn videos, or women being doxed & trolled online saying "our story is more akin to those stories than any thing to do with title IX". Shame on her, for showing so little compassion to other victims of false and malicious accusations. I'm not particularly proud of this position, but I find it hard to give a damn, if she's not going to admit that a "judicial system" that takes away many of the rights of those accused is deeply flawed. She goes even further, and actually defended this indefensible legislation.

I remember when my ex-girlfriend told my close friends that I raped her. She was to much of a pussy to go to the cops so she settled for just ruining my friendships. Neither of them wanted to hear my opinion and just took her word for it. Nobody believes guys when they claim they were falsely accused.

Did we not have a similar feminist discussion recently about the unfairness of long-term alimony, triggered by women ordered to pay it?

This is ostensibly ridiculously skewed, but in the end good news. If feminists start combating false accusations, they would be hard pressed to argue it is an issue that mostly affects women and stop the measures from applying to male victims as well.

It is of course a valid question why, as far as we know, there are precious few male-female sexual assault accusations and almost no patently false accusation. To be fair, it has nothing to do with men being less likely to lie about it in general, and much more to do with the incentives we have put into place. As a woman, you simply are more likely to get sympathy and even gain financially.

Before getting to any semblance of a narrative or facts, her article included

constant mention of her two children and detailing their various weekend plans and social calendar

a strange anecdote about her daughter tearing up toilet paper that she tried to use as her closing take-home message regarding truth

reasons why her partner and herself find each other attractive

discussing the process of applying for a job for herself in great detail, only to turn the job offer down in the end

It's amazing how her partner and the writer could have gone through this potentially false sexual misconduct allegation Title IX process, write an entire NYT piece laying it out in excruciating detail, and manage to still make it all about yourself and your decision to turn down your "dream job" without a shred of insight or commentary that just maybe your whole experience suggests that innocent males facing the same baseless, anonymous accusations should be given some due process.

I am of the mind that any false claim, but especially false rape claims, should carry an absolute min. prison sentence of 3.5 years. By this, I mean that the lying claimant is to serve no less than that long (they serve the entire sentence unless they die in prison).
