In reality, most average women date average men. Just not any average man. He has to be her type and have the specific things that matter most to her, despite being average overall. They may hook up with men out of their league, but most women aren’t that interested in hookups to begin with.

But yeah, most couples are well-matched in terms of looks. Where men here get mixed up is thinking “well if she’s average and I’m average she should date me, wtf is her problem,” because women past a certain looks threshold are mostly interchangeable to them. This isn’t the case for women.

That wouldn't change anything, because if normal dudes go for below average women, then below average dudes have no women. The vacuum that is created on top affects everyone, not just the category that is directly below the top tier.

Luckily, the society enforced monogamy and laws, so that men get some women and don't just either check out or get together and kill chads. Of course, in the current climate where the system that won't let men kill chads is still there, but nonpromiscuity isn't enforced, it's a rational play.

It's fine for average women and chads. But it's not perfectly fine for the majority of men.

The average dudes are actually getting average women. The guys complaining online about chads don’t really understand what’s happening. They think they are average. But they aren’t. Maybe lookswise they are average, but perhaps they have no social skills, they are misogynistic, they are living in moms basement with no job. Men don’t factor that stuff in when they decide a woman’s rating, they go purely on looks, women do factor those things in. So the guy who thinks he’s 5 looks wise is actually a 2 cause of all the other factors he’s not thinking about. The other side of it, is that a true average woman who’s a 5, she’s likely overweight and not super pretty. Doesn’t spend a lot of time in her looks. So these men who are actually 2s, are going after women who are actually 7s thinking that’s their level. These guys need to actually accept that their level is determined by more than looks and honestly evaluate where they are at. If they don’t want to date 2s, they are going stay single unless they can massively level up somehow, which they won’t. It’s easier to say that you are a 5 and it’s chads fault you can’t get laid, than to admit you are a 2 and have a ton of work to do on yourself.

I'll ignore that the whole x/10 thing is bullshit.

If there are two groups of equal size, 1000 men and 1000 women, where for example:
50 in each group is 0-2/10
100 in each group is 3/10
200 in each group is 4/10
300 in each group is around 5/10
200 in each group is 6/10
100 in each group is 7/10
50 in each group is 8-10/10

6-10/10 women get priority and will connect in a relationship with most men 6-10/10. So not every 5/10 woman can get a man 6/10 or 7/10.

In fact, only for example 20% of 5/10 women will have a chance to get a 6/10 man in a relationship and for example 5% of 5/10 women can get a 7/10 man. Most will be disappointed.

Of course, everyone can pursue whatever they want. But your proposed behavior and solution will never have a perfectly fine result in terms of ideal pairing of people.

I disagree. Yes, women have the right to choose, but they are hypocrites. Women don't want men to judge them harshly for their looks or sexual prospects. But yet they judge men for the same things. Plus, other things are beyond his control, like height or financial prospects. We should only go after those who are close to our average.

The behavior you endorse pushes bottom tier men out of the game. So you shouldn't be surprised that they don't like you.

Additionally, the women who spend their youth hooking up with higher tier men can't all marry them. But if they then marry a man on their own level, he'll potentially fail to impress her as much as the past Chads, and there'll be a higher risk of infidelity/divorce. The short-term fun leads to long-term suffering.
