I don't know what's up with society but apparently it's not acceptable for women to be any different from men. Even when it comes to the most obvious differences like sex drive. What comes next? Height? Body mass?

First off, yes, I know that everyone is different and there are also plenty of men who don't see sex as a significant part of their life and also plenty of women who have a high sex drive, even compared to men. But people like those are definitely outliners and with that not the norm of which I'm talking of.

So, I really don't think I have to explain the difference in sex drive etc. there is between the average man and woman all too much, after all there have been countless studies on this topic and they all have shown undeniable differences. I'm talking about significant gaps in: - sexual thoughts - sexual desire in casual sex - sexual desire in relationships - masturbation - initiating sex - talking about sex - enjoying sex And more.

Now to the actual CMV: I believe that saying otherwise is not only a lie (obviously) but also potentially harmful. Now, if women believe that men have the same drive as them on average, they'd be surprised to learn how often men think about sex, how often they fantasize abouth having sex with random women they see etc. In fact I've seen so many women saying stuff like "men are horny animals they can't control themselves" because they've been asked for sex after the first date for the 5th time in a row.

The other way around, it's even worse. If men think that women have the same drive and desires as them, they'd start looking for random hookups and harass women because "if I want it she must be wanting it as well, cuz same desires." And believe me I know guys that though like this when they were younger and they had to learn the hard way. And I also heard of husbands keeping asking for sex after their wife turned down for the 15th time that day.

Long story short, denying a staggering gender difference like this (which is by the way larger than the height difference) is nothing but harmful and people should just embrace it according to their own level of sexuality. There is nothing bad after all to be more or less sexual.
