I told my wife last Wednesday night, I wanted a divorce. I was planning on being fair on division of assets and bills. We don't have any child support or spousal support issues, so I imagined self filing to save cost.

Well, after I went to sleep (on the couch) that night, she moved all of the joint checking into a savings account controlled by her. When confronted, she said it was to protect herself from me stealing the money. She carries the health insurance. She told me she would have me dropped by her job by June 1st. Also, I had a hospital visit 1 month ago. She told me I would be responsible for paying all cost of that bill since I had to have been thinking of divorcing her while I was in patient. There are 5 or 6 other examples were she is showing she is not going to play nicely.

We are meeting tonight with a neutral friend to act as witness. If she can't agree to play nicely I'll start by contacting the police reporting her theft of the money from our joint account. I had to borrow money from a friend to buy gas since the account is empty.
