We often hear this rebuttal from misandrists when they claim things like men can never experience sexism from women or that misandry isn't real (both absolutely false) because society is supposedly "structured" for them by them and they can never experience the same struggles and hardships as women. Neither gender has things perfect and both face their share of challenges, but as usual misandrists never want to tend to those faced by men and only ever want to address women's issues. Men may have built society but it was never built with the intent of serving only men and society (at least in Western nations) is very much centered around only women and their needs. For a society so "structured" for men, they sure get the short end of the stick much of the time.

The safety and rights of women are always prioritized, there's virtually no campaigns to ever raise awareness about misandry and violence against men (especially by women) and to also end them, men and boys are always taught to unconditionally respect women and girls but the other way around is never taught (never mind that respect is actually earned and not something that should ever be granted based on gender). To say nothing of how badly boys do in schools and comprise the majority of dropouts, society's failure to recognize men and boys as victims of violence, rape, abuse, etc. (especially by women), how men are still the only ones required to register for the draft, accused men denied due process and the rhetoric of "believe women." To say nothing of how masculinity and being male in general is constantly demonized and how women/girls are always celebrated, whereas celebrating men is deemed sexist. The list goes on.

With all of these disadvantages and hardships men face, I have a hard time buying that society is "structured" to benefit men. Unless one's idea of "structure" is to see to it misandry is upheld and enforced, and to see to it men and boys face numerous disadvantages that are never addressed or rectified, and their needs aren't even secondary to that of women and girls. In which case, I'll agree that society is structured for men... structured to disadvantage them.
