When women say they like dad bods, they point to pictures of Jason Momoa and Hugh Jackman when they're not cutting/dehydrating for a shot. Not having a visible six pack but still buff is what they're calling a dad bod.

The body positivity movement was created by the disabled, not by fat women. The entire point was not to shame people born with disfigured bodies, or people that suffered an injury.

My friend was diagnosed with a serious illness that caused major hormonal changes, which led to the breast area developing. His colleagues knew about his illness, yet one of them told him that she didn't like talking to him because his manboobs made her uncomfortable. Forget body positivity, even showing some sensitivity regarding body changes due to serious illness is a big ask.

It's almost like she's never been on Tinder et al as a straight male and been shut down again and again for not being quite tall or handsome enough..

If anybody's ripping women for having big asses or whatever, it's other women not straight men. If a man isn't feeling it, he just moves on.

Also, while this is a problem with all click bait articles. You are just complaining about the title. I don't think you read the whole article. They raise a good point and are right. The body positivity movement was created by and for women at a time when women's bodies were judged pretty harshly in media. Men including themselves in the movement seems very reractionary. I think that is a fair assessment.

I was just trying to post this and it wouldn’t let me. 7hrs too late I see. But yet this is absolutely ridiculous. I love how it’s okay to be racist and sexist towards white males. Like I have no control over anything that happened prior to me becoming an adult. I’m lucky enough to not come from a family who’s racist or believes in any of that ideology but some of this shit is just utterly ridiculous. I’m not even chubby I can inject drugs in my stomach if need be but body positivity has nothing to do with sex or race. Literally nothing. Till now.
