School degree and ask when she graduated. Work field and how long she's worked. Ask if she has any siblings younger or older, that'll lead to the age. Ask her best birthday gift she received and it'll give you a few hints.

All of these are situational and depends on where the conversation is going. It takes conversation skills to get what you want without showing what you want.

My favorite way is to just approach in areas where it's basically required that a woman be 18+ to be at. College campuses, bars, 18+ concerts, etc. I've approached people at places like the mall who look early 20s, and end up being 14. It's not fun, even though it's completely unintentional, you feel like a major creep, need to leave asap to avoid potential legal issues, and need a hot shower to feel clean again.

Asking them what they studied and when they graduated is the best one. If they started uni at the age of 18 like most people, then they'll likely be 22 when they graduated so if they say 2020, then they're probably 24. If they're still in school, ask what year they are. And if they say they're in high school, run away.

Edit: or even better than asking, cold read her. For example: "you totally look like you majored in psychology". Let her correct you.

If it really matters to you, it's ok to just ask.

If you're worried about offending, round your guess a couple years towards 21. Teenagers will be flattered that you considered them more mature. Adults will be flattered that they look youthful.

You just ask, or asume her age by telling her “you look like you are 19”…. you don’t need to act like it’s forbidden or something to ask for their age.

Is not that big deal if you just ask about it straight away. Okay I'm only 20 so I usually talk with girls from 17 up to maybe 30 if shes that good-looking but if she's older you can tease her about it like you're too old for me or too young if you found out the opposite and just joke around it a Lil bit till its not tryhard but its an important thing to know
