Prologue:

I read The Game almost a year ago and it blew my fucking mind. At that time I had never been on a date or even held a women's hand, much less have sex with one. At 23, I was in desperate need of help.

After finishing The Game I bought every pickup related book with a decent review that I could find on Amazon. I started with The Mystery Method, Rules of the Game, The Manual (personal favorite), The Natural, and Bang. They were unbelievable; finally I was finding all the answers to all my problems with women. All of these guys had figured out how to do it, why can't I? What the hell was wrong with me? I had countless friends that were very good with women, but I could never figure it out. I thought they were just "getting lucky", and that women didn't really want sex. They were just trading it for a monogamous relationship. My limiting beliefs were pretty bad. (Note that I never bought Models until recently, since I literally thought that "honesty" was stupid, especially after reading MM. Was I ever wrong...)

I was terrified after reading these books; I knew deep down that I now had no excuse to not start approaching beautiful women. But I still wasn't. Not until I started the 30 day challenge from Rules of the Game, also written by Neil Strauss. I got my fist date ever on day 12, and holy fucking shit was it awesome.

After that I got to day 18 of the challenge and sort of stopped, since I was seeing this girl, but I really just lacked the balls to keep going. I began reading the more "subtle" pickup books like Six Pillars, Mastering Your Hidden Self, and Influence. These were awesome as well, and taught me a lot about life in general. In fact they immediately helped me at work and with friends. But I still wasn't approaching women.

Then something happened: with one week I came across about four separate sources that all recommended that you should just stop reading altogether. They said all pretty much the same thing: At some point, you get so much theory and so many lines in your head that you have no fucking idea what to do when you see a beautiful woman, even though you have read everything there is about the very subject.

This hit me hard. I immediately decided to devote the month of October to the 100 set challenge, then finish it off by going out on Halloween and talking to all the HB's in hot costumes at bars. I downloaded the "Stay Focused" extension and nuked this site as well as a few others.

And OH MY FUCKING GOD guys I fucking did it. 100 sets in October and an HB9 number close on Halloween. Fuck yeah. I am now much more calm around women, can hold excellent eye contact, and have obliterated my approach anxiety. I believe this is really the first step at getting good with women: not being afraid to talk to them. It sounds fucking obvious (and it is), but cannot be fully realized until you truly achieve it. I literally cannot wait until I can get out there and talk to more beautiful women, get their number, take them on dates, and have sex with them.

Now, I actually plan on perusing Seddit again and reading a few more books (Art of Seduction, Red Queen), but I am definitely going to keep going out, since that is where the women are...

I realize I just gave you guys a bunch of stuff to read and watch, but these actually helped me get out there.

TL;DR Quit fucking reading and get out there. The best feedback in the world comes from an actual woman, not lines of text. The answers are out there, go get them...
