Respectfully, I think this list, while clearly well put together, highlights a bunch of relatively outdated material (or at least only one specific approach to seduction). To start, I recommend adding Mark Manson's "Models" and RSD's "Blueprint" video/audio as required material.

I found success after reading 'No more Mr. Nice guy' and most of the seddit blogs agree that it is a great first step to understanding who you are before trying to fix or practice your game

Read/seen most of these, came here to say Models really has everything down on correcting "beta"/whiteknight behaviour and also good emphasis on everything else.

Check out the blog equivalent, PostMasculine as well.

By the way OP, you should add in some blogs as well, since they're more easily digestable in small chunks. For starters looking to swarm in on this material, I recommend GirlsChase. But to really get in tune with yourself, I've only been reading PostMasculine and AbsoluteAbility.

Could someone maybe give me a tl;dr on the Book of Pook? because the writing is godawful. It's like some 13-year-old kid writing dialogue for his D&D campaign. I should know, I wrote shit like that when I was 13 :P

My comments:

How to Win Friends and Influence People (aka, how to listen to people, appreciate them, and not be a dick): will not really help you with women directly.

The Game: Entertaining book, nice for motivation, will introduce you to Mystery Method and Style's modifications, but I'm assuming that reading Mystery's stuff directly would be more useful (I haven't done this, myself, yet). At a minimum, Rules of The Game, Neil Strauss' other book, is more of a how-to, and it will probably be better (again, I haven't read it yet).

David DeAngelo: I've heard nothing but good things about his methods. I acquired a video series by him which has been incredibly slow and focused on inner game. I'd like to know which of his resources is best for teaching his classic cocky/funny approach that people swear by.

Blueprint: I acquired these and have been disappointed with the first videos in the series. I know he's supposed to be the ultimate AMOG resource and is talked about a lot, but I'm having a tough time getting past the way he talks and especially his incredibly fake sounding laugh. It's almost aggressive feeling, even when he's trying to self deprecate with it. I have it saved to watch in the future, if I hear enough recommendations about it.

Malefashionadvice: I really want this to be a good resource. I want advice on improving my look, but I just can't take it seriously. As mentioned, it's a huge circle jerk on many things, most of which are not popular in my city (Toronto). Many popular guys there just look absolutely ridiculous, and even if their look is sartorially sophisticated, it is in no way going to attract a women. I guess the bottom line is that I don't believe that many women are going to be impressed with a lot of the looks coming out of there. You're just going to be impressing a bunch of classic menswear enthusiasts (who are guys) .

I need something more practical. I feel like I'd be better off looking at the photo galleries of night club websites (for evening datewear, at least).

Not on the list:

David Wygant: good day game advice, but he repeats himself a lot.

Mystery's TV show (The Pickup Artist): entertaining and shows Mystery's program in the field (lot's of canned material). It's light viewing but might turn you on or off of learning Mystery Method.

Keys to the VIP: a local pickup show from Toronto that shows in-field pickups at night clubs. Two guys battle to pick up women and the hosts critique them. They also give them challenges, such as recovering from a terrible opener.

Read both "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and "Influence: Science and Practice" and I have to say I much prefer the latter, because it explains the concepts in a more modern way and backs it up with psychology studies.

You should add the Pickup Podcast and Tripp Lanier's the New Man podcast. They don't focus on game specific things but rather growing as a person.

not bad, not bad. For NLP id recommend "monsters and magical sticks: does hypnotism exist?" its a great book, that clears a lot of the misconceptions. as far as nlp goes i also recommend ross jeffries speed seduction, as he puts out so much good mateiral for free. not nlp related, but Psycho-Cybernetics is a self-help book everyone should own.

Good list except that MFA is a bigger circlejerk than /r/circlejerk. A lot of seduction methods include the idea of peacocking and MFA tends to play it safe. I would recommend GQ.com or Esquire.com. Just my two cents. Good job.

EDIT: I listed GQ and Esquire as a base for inspiration on actual fashion. Not to purchase every item that they list. There is a reason those magazines have been around for so long.
