I used to have friend just like your friend, then I found the seduction community and one by one I let all of them go and formed much more deeper friendship with other great guys. I am much more happier now. If you surround with people who are negative, your life will be surround by negative feelings. It is simple, you will be average of the five people you spend the time with financially, emotionally, and physical heath. Choose the right friends.

Let him sort out his issues, everyone has their priorities, if his priority is gaming let him have it. You find few other friend who will help you get what you want. Life is short you can spend it with people who will help you or people who will break you.

Real "Bros before Hoes" is ditching your buddy for some broad when you already had plans with him. You put getting laid above whatever you guys had planned on doing. If your out some night to meet people/women, then your end game is probably to bring a girl home with you.

Just focus on improving yourself. If he wants to do the same, he will follow.

Until then, cut him loose and do not invite him to social situations where he will be a lead weight. Hang out with him in other settings.

You're a good friend for bringing him up to this point, but as David DeAngelo says, if someone is a failure-model, hang out with them in an environment where they will be at their best. Do not bring them into an environment where they will bring you down.

We follow a rule in my friendship group when we're out. Hoes before Bros.

If a bro has scored a hoe, said bro reserves the right to leave fellow bros without warning at any point during the night. This rule still applies even when said bro was the planned designated driver home. In addition if required said bro has dibs on taxi/car/bus spaces. If bros are staying in the same residence, said bro can remove fellow bros from the residence at his choosing. Fellow bros should also always be on the look out for bitches or male friends within the hoes friendship group who may try separating the hoe from the bro. If said bro scores a hoes with a waist size larger than his own, fellow bros should alert said bro but never intervene. Under this circumstance previously defined rules no longer apply.

He has the following two options:

You combine PUA time and Friend time. You hang out but you also use this time for meeting babes. You offer again to wing for him, he is a bro after all.
You separate man time and girl time. When you hang with him, you do man things and girls aren't part of the equation unless you agree on it. It would also be polite to ask for his permission before opening girls during man time. You would invariably see him 50% less often because you aren't winging with him anymore.

Additionally, if you do all your game as night game in clubs, consider taking him somewhere that is more similar to daygame.

It's also about not stomping on your friend's chances just to get your own close.
