Her stopping you during the movie saying "i really want to watch this" and her "ok NOW we can make out" were sort of signs that she was dominating the movement.

you brought it back with that freeze out.

However my problem with the freeze out is, I can imagine some girls seeing making out as having a value of its own, and you breaking away from that just because she doesn't want to have sex would offend her/put her off

It seems alot of your success was due to you playing "hard to get". Like not texting her back when she tried to make small talk, and just shutting down when she said no. I think those things drove her crazy and had alot to do with your success.

Most guys, myself included, seem to fall for the trap of wanting the girl more than they want you. You made her work for your attention! Awesome job :D
