Set up a date for Friday night at a bar , received this text : "Hey I can´t come to x cause im goin to x with a friend at 7.30 You can join us if you want to :) Were not gonna stay out late , thats y were goin so early" First time I met the chick was at a bar when she was with a friend , I isolated got number and set up the date , now this happens. Don´t really know how to handle this since I´m not comfortable with repeatably dating a girl when her friends are around all the time

anyone got any good tips for playfully letting a girl know that her bragging is annoying? i understand that perhaps this is just their awkward way of trying to "demonstrate value," but to constantly hear it when getting to know someone is a big turn-off to me. right now my strategy is to give them shit about it in a playful way, but i'm wondering if something more direct would be better.

No matter what I cannot get women to be interested in me. I've never had an IOI of any form whatsoever, despite my attempts of self improvement (substantial weight loss, muscle gain, fashion improvements, hair styles, scent/cleanliness, and studying attraction and how to show confidence) over the past year and change. When I initiate conversation anyways, women seem to blow me off and seem disinterested, despite my attempts to act with value.

I am pretty sure this has to do with the way my face looks as I am quite ugly, but is there any way I can get around this? I am fulfilled in nearly every other aspect of my life, but I want to be attractive to a woman at least once in my life. It's killing me.

Note: I'm 26 years old btw, if it matters

I'm brand new in a town - is it too try-hard to try to coax invites from people who are better connected in the area?

I'm used to having a network of friends who I see every single day back home, so not having that is troubling. At the same time, I'm not very good at inviting girls out even when I don't intend on escalating with them. I feel like my requests come across as date-y, but in this weird beta way where tehy think I'm trying to get with them.

Example: "Hey, I'm headed over to xx to do xx if you wanna join."

If I were trying to game them, this might seem like I'm setting up a date. When in reality I don't really want to sleep with them, I just want people around me.

I'm trying to get an idea if this girl likes me back. So far, I have tried to hang out with her inviting her to join my friends and me when we have fun on hall (college). My female friend is doing recon work because she is friends with this girl I like. So far, texts have been reasonably flirty with lots of uses of "we," words with extra lettersssss, and exclamation points. Last night, my friends and I played a card game called Kemps, and I was partnered with the girl I like so I could talk to her some more after we came up with our code. I asked the usual questions about school and life, and she asked me a few questions too. We ended up winning to two games of best of five. She then had to leave to continue homework, but before she left, she talked to my female friend. They got very touchy, and my friend said she thought that she was trying to get my attention (which she did successfully!). After she left the room, I asked if she had fun and she said yeah totally, etc. with the same flirty cues like exclamation marks, extra letters, and so on. Out of the blue she said to let her know when we play again to "continue our winning streak."

I am falling head over heels over this girl, but I have been single almost my whole life, partly because I've never been as interested in a girl like this before and partly because I didn't care about dating at 13 or whatever. I just want to know what you all think of my prospective chances with her. My female friend has told me that I'm doing great, and I believe her, but an extra opinion wouldn't hurt. I'm not sure if this should be a post instead, but I'll leave it here for now.

Edit: I also forgot, my female friend met with her a week ago to talk to her about boys in general, and she brought me up on her own. She talked about how we talked over Christmas break and she was sorry that her friend kicked me out of her room a few weekends ago.

Yesterday I came off really needy to this girl I've been talking to for a couple months, like weird needy. I feel like our connection is dying down since we hardly ever see each other (different state). Met a guy last semester, he's in my piano class (we go to music school; he's music theater and I'm opera performance). Problem is, he's my good friend's ex. I need some advice from you guys!

So I used a lot of the stuff I've read on here to start seeing a girl that I normally wouldn't have tried to talk to. Great. We've gone on a couple dates and have a lot in common and have had some great, long conversations. Each time ended with some kissing, I know shes into me.

Fast forward to the other night. She calls me at like 2:30am (shes a bartender) after I had tried to make plans for earlier that day with her. She is super busy all the time so shes not just always available.

She basically says 'i feel like you shouldnt be waiting around for me and putting off seeing other people. im too busy and i cant see this going anywhere because im never available.' - a few other things but thats the gist, she is too busy and i think she feels bad or something that im trying to see her and cant.

So, i think it's retarded because she CLEARLY is very into me, so i we made some plans to talk about it sometime later.

Advice? Im planning on just telling this girl that im into her but im not going to sit around pleading with her to change her mind. BUT i need to do it in a way that works, because i do in fact want to keep dating her.

Hello. I'm pretty experienced when it comes to meeting girls outside of my social circle. I have a good group of friends both guys and girls that hang out all the time. I've had a thing for a girl a met when I started to improve myself by doing pickup. She's has seen me through stages of my development, for the better of course.

Now, I don't suffer from social anxiety or approach and usually just man up and say things. Usually I don't care because it's a strange and who cares if they know me, but I decided to take an approach that I've never done before towards this girl. I finally decided (after much debate) to tell her I liked her. It was pretty straight forward "Hey you know I really like you, I think your cute and I want you". I was pretty confident, looked her in the eye and said it without hesitation. She commented on how "brave" it was, which it really is cause she's a 12 out of 10 and she knows it. Anyways I teased her later about her being my girl friend and then we parted ways. I also told her I didn't expect anything out of it because of distance.

Anyways, I pretty straight forward. All the confidence I have ever gained in my life was at that moment. I wasn't gaming, least I don't think so...I was just honest and stating what I wanted. Like I said, I'm pretty good at pickup and just like any other girl, I'm willing to lose her. She's been great practice but it fucking sucks!

Maybe it's a case of oneitis...idk I just felt like venting because I've come so far but I still can't get the girl I want. I'm thinking about just being open about the fact that I like her and tease her about being my girl friend till she gives in lol. Oh and when I tell her these things there's no awkward vibe, on the contrary I'm pretty content with the fact that I'm standing in front of the hottest girl in the planet and telling her how genuinely adorable she is. It's always done with smiles and what not...

Do you think that the approach that I plan on taking is a good one? testing her about being my gf?

I am Indian, and in India, most people would consider me good-looking. However, in the United States I have this overwhelming unconscious fear that I am incredible unattractive and not a single girl wants to be with me. What is the best way to steal a girl back from another guy? I.e. You've opened a target earlier in the night and she was receptive. Ok so last week me and friends were at the bar having drinks and craic, I wasn't trying to pick up or pull any girls just had some fun wasn't drinking to much. In the friend group Iv been going out with theres a girl who I sort of like although haven't spoken alot with, that night I wasn't really engaging with her except once when I joined her and her friend outside for a smoke. I think I fucked up at the end of the night when they had allready went home when I told my friend that knows her better than me I was into her and thought she was hot. One of her friends also heard this so now im pretty sure she'll hear that I may like her lol. If you're in the middle of a set with a woman, and you see another woman, usually better looking, that you want to approach, what do you do? I would guess eject and approach the other woman, but that seems like kind of a douchey thing to do, especially if the original woman sees you doing so.
