It's a double edged sword. While it might help guys become more comfortable around women it's not an accurate version of reality. Strippers will come up to you but women at bars rarely come up to you. Strippers will talk with you even if you say the cringiest shit whereas regular women will walk away. Getting lap dances from really hot strippers on a regular basis lowers the incentive to talk with cute women you could date.

I’ve tried this with my friend who’s a virgin, ram into a slight problem though. The only problem with strip clubs is that those women are paid to flirt. They make even more money by making you feel good about yourself. They are very nice women though and I personally love going to the strip club. However overall I would agree with your statement

While this could work I think these guys will get used to women being this forward (approaching u, touching you). Personally I think the reason they are scared shitless by talking to women is because they think of women as some higher power, above mere mortals like us dudes. In reality women are normal humans, but this overvaluation of them is what causes this extreme anxiety. Coaching them to “stop putting the pussy on a pedestal” is my take on easing their approach anxiety around women. Again just my 0.02 cents

I can see this is as an interesting premise, if nothing else it might wake guys up that girls are people too.

My only issue with this is, strippers can be some of the most two-faced evil and downright fake people to exist and as an ex cleaner to a strip-club, the degrading and humiliating shit you hear these girls talk about almost makes you think all women are evil witches in disguise.

You could be an offspring of Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark in every department from looks to personality to finances and once the dancing is done and they're backstage in the dressing room they will find ANYTHING to laugh at your shortcomings.

Going to a strip club is great. It's just like a bicep workout.

Girls will approach you which is unrealistic, but that's not the part you're practicing. You're practicing regular conversation, how to flirt, improvise, be vague, be mean, turn an insult into a compliment, be self-deprecating, when to lie, when to be honest, how to treat human beings, how to tell a story, working memory etc.

About half the strippers you meet will talk to you exactly how a girl at the bar would. The other half will get straight to the point or be too dumb to hold a conversation, not much you can do other than be nice and wait.

Also don't be obligated to drink every time you go, just order water and tip the bartender. You can lie and say you're sober, or tell the truth and just be comfortable not drinking.

The point is the strip club can be used to improve conversation skills and make you more comfortable around women. When you fuck up and say something dumb, remember the mistake and prevent it in the future. When you do something that seems to work, figure out why and explore it.

If you have difficulty reading basic emotions from a woman and have no frame of reference on your own abilities, then ya it might not be a great idea cause you'll mostly get nothing but positive feedback, in which case you would need to start at a more fundamental level.

I don't smile at bouncers. They're known to charge cover fees which go right in their pocket and the place never sees a penny of it.

Tip the bartender well, girls who are dancing only tip the one's who interest you well or you're gonna get flooded with girls who aren't your type trying to get you to sit for a dance.

Go in with like 50$ only plan to stay for an hour. Maybe like 2 or 3 drinks. Talk to girls you like. Talk to the bartender. If you're there to learn to speak to girls stay away from dances. Treat it as a bar where everyone has their tits out.

I think stripper game is great. The more you treat the people inside like regular people, the better. I.e. don't try to be a cool cat, a big tipper, or a dabbler who leaves his human emotions at the door. I don't bother throwing money around or getting private dances. I don't leer at the girls on stage. Yet the last time I was there a cute girl wearing just an open kimono came up to chat with me in between dances and gave me a hug and a kiss ... like a casual female friend ... when I left.

Strippers are hooked up a little bit different from most of the women you meet, but the differences are so small that no special kind of game is required. If anything, average guys who go there are so inhibited (because of thinking that strippers and strip clubs are weird and unusual), that the girls notice and appreciate a normal, chill dude even more than other girls do.

I wouldn't say that guys should do game in strip clubs in preference to other places, but the more you treat it as just another place where women hang out ... like a coffee shop, workplace or the gym, the more rewarding it will be. And the chicks are pretty hot.

I honestly think this is a horrible idea, it’s worse than putting training wheels on a bike. Because it’s a fake bike. This will not help anyone, because of the entire fake nature that strip clubs exist in. It’s such a bad habit, and if someone who struggles talking to girls gets comfortable in a strip club then feels uncomfortable talking to girls outside of them they will stump their growth. Those girls are paid to be nice and will smile / laugh / give fake signals to make more money , also lots of them are on drugs to get through their night. That might help you get laid but that’s not what this sub is for it’s to teach you how to seduce people.

There is no substitute for learning to have a normal/ interesting/ engaging conversation with someone who is “not paid” to talk to you. The main thing is “be comfortable being uncomfortable” that is step one! So forcing yourself out into the public and asking people questions without the intention of any return is much better for building a good successful personality you can use to pick up girls. Honestly striking conversations with random strangers is much more helpful. It doesn’t need to be sexual or have any intent on that. First learn to be engaging with other humans then get more specific with women then sprinkle in seduction and he will be light years ahead of some guy who sat in a strip club thinking he was learning anything other than how women can manipulate men

There is value in this lesson as a starting point without also explaining the caveats.

He must realistically understand that they are people who do this for a living and mostly want the money.

This may be a great opportunity to all our admit he's socially awkward and make as many gaffs as possible.

The responses in that club are going to be very different from outside so he should be prepared.

It is better to understand that social anxiety stems from a fear of being awkward or made fun of. The sooner he can learn to make mistakes and laugh them off the better.

I used to intentionally make a fool of myself publicly to neutralize how I felt. Eventually I realized most people don't notice, and having the ability to laugh at yourself makes everyone else at ease.

It might help with conversations initially, but the same is true in any restaurant or bar. Pick a place and become a regular and apply my "five feet" rule. Smile and talk to anyone within five feet.

Honestly. I have gone a bit overboard with SC's as of late and I am thinking a lot of them. I definately have been relying on them too much for female interaction and it has gotten very expensive. BUT. I make a decent wage so I can afford it.

It has kind of killed my self esteem as I have come to see myself as worth as much money I have and I don't know what to do about it. BUT I often think if I should just go full bore and eventually be a SD. Some guys on TUSCL are saying they are and they are loving it.

Strip clubs work a bit different where I am. You can't really just have conversations with anyone without throwing a heap of money at them.

Speed dating and salsa dancing is what helped me the most. Every few minutes you have someone new in front of you and you can try again.

Wow this never occurred to me. I am absolutely terrified of women, and this sounds like a fantastic idea. I went to a strip club once 20 years ago and I vividly remember the cringe factor being similar to what I feel trying to talk to women still today. I would possibly even tell the dancers what I was up to, I'm not an unattractive guy, they might appreciate it and offer me valuable pointers. I've known dancers before and they are chill.

Doubt I could get anyone to go with me though, would be a challenge to build myself up to doing that one alone.

One of the worst ideas I've seen on this sub. Most dudes here lack the frame to be able to contend with what is essentially the female version of a PUA.
