Best advice I've seen on Reddit so far (or from the internet as a whole). Real. Most of the crap I've seen online are written by fake wannabe "alphas" and wannabe players who teach you to be misogynists and keeps you from being truly confident by making you second guess yourself with everything you do and say wondering if you're acting "alpha" enough. Truth of the matter is, there is not one thing that works with every girl. You just have to be confident and be yourself and you'll naturally attract girls who are on your wavelength.

And 100% agree with the "put your fucking phone away" advice. I've gotten girls in real life that would never give me the light of day on dating apps. Just two nights ago, at the clubs, I met, danced, and made out with an amazingly beautiful white girl (I'm Asian lol) who I later found out had >10k followers on Instagram. I have a baby face, can't grow a beard even if my life depended on it, definitely will never ride a motorcycle, and have no visible tattoo.

I do, however, make sure I eat healthy and exercise often so I can stay as fit as possible so seconded on the "get your health in order" advice. You can't be overweight and expect to get an attractive, fit girl. You gotta hold yourself to the same standard you want for the girl.

Great post and I agree with the gist of this but I think this point is a bit of a catch 22. How do you get laid if you can’t get laid? Sex work is a pretty dicey option. Removing that sense of “thirst” and desperation makes sense but I can’t say using those services is really advisable or even feasible for most men in this category.

I like the post on a whole, many points that address the whiney behaviour often seen on this reddit. You seem like a no nonsense sort of guy and I think that is sorely needed in today's world.

The one part I'm a bit unsure about is choosing a number over social media. To me, something like Instagram is perfect because it gives heaps of discussion points and shows that you're living an active lifestyle. I take note that phones are ruining us to some extent, but it doesn't take too much time to upload some photos to Instagram.

Other than that, look forward to seeing what you post in the future.

Totally agree on these, but I'll add some nuance on the subject of swiping.

It's a misconception that swiping right on everyone saves time. If someone matches and they're actually someone you would swipe left on, then all you've done is kick the can down the road. You end up unmatching later on anyway, which takes a little more time than swiping left in the first place.

Or worse, desperate dudes will be tempted to go on a date with a Left Swipe, just because their need for validation is that strong.

Tinder isn't worth much of one's time, but swiping right on everyone is not the best use of whatever time you end up throwing away on the app. If you're going to spend 15 seconds swiping, at least be discriminatory in that swiping, so that matches are only with someone you're interested in.

But overall, spending more than a few minutes a day on Tinder is not a good use of time.

Great post!, i disagree with this one though " Text back promptly if you can. " it totally goes against the fake it till you make it principle. I have noticed a 100% correlation between interest levels in girls and the speed they reply with.

If they are in to you they will reply fast, even if they have crazy busy jobs and if they are not even if they are at home doing nothing they will take a long time to reply.

So i personally apply the exact same principle back to them and how lame as it sounds i take just a little longer than them to reply back, framing it as if they are chasing me, waiting for my reply's. If they say something that invests i will respond faster, to keep the momentum going/ reward/ condition them.

This is a brilliant post it's given me a lot to think about my ex recently ended around six year relationship, I got so comfortable and lazy,packed on the pounds and lost my sense of individualism, its been three months now and I'm doing a lot better than I was. I have lost a 1st in weight bought new clothes and trying to be more social with my friends, I'm still trying to find myself and get my (for lack of a better word) "mojo" back. I agree to all but this part. If the girl wants a relationship and you don't want to commit, she will most likely with hold sex from you because she wants to have sex with someone who actually wants a relationship.
