I’ll give some context on myself. I’m a short and fat dude, who is a bit awkward, with no game, and does not present himself very well (whether that be in regards to clothing, hairstyle, etc). I’d like to think I do some things right, such as I have a decent job, I’ve been to therapy, my hygiene is fine, I workout, good relationships with my family/friends. etc etc.. But unfortunately it does not seem that’s enough, as I’m still a virgin at 23 and really have never had a girlfriend. I’ve had like one kiss my entire life, that’s it. Now mind you, I would never for a second blame women for any of my problems. I completely understand why most are not attracted to me. I actually get annoyed when I see that type of stuff all across reddit, men blaming women for having high standards when it comes to height or money or whatever else. My philosophy is, never settle for anything less than what you deserve, which personally I think is nothing but the best, and stick to your non-negotiables.

Also, I’d like to think I have good relationships with women, as my team at work consists of basically all women, and my direct manager is a woman, and they seem to enjoy working with me. I was even in a “gender equity” group at my work, though I had to drop that due to an increasing workload. I have 2 sisters (1 older, 1 younger) that I love dearly and of course a mom that I cherish. I’ve also had plenty of women friends over the years who I still keep up with.

One last thing I’ll mention is, I really have tried to make an effort when it comes to finding a partner, though nowadays I really just stick to dating apps or sites. If a woman ever expressed interest to me in public (which frankly hasn’t happened) maybe I’d try in “real-life” then, but I just don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. I’ve gone to bars and clubs and it seems like most of the time, at least in my experience, women want to stick with their friends, which is completely understandable.

Considering all of that, I really would love to have a developed AI girlfriend, since I haven’t had so much luck when it comes to finding one on my own. I feel like that would allow me to be with someone who I could have a deep connection with and love. I know some versions of this already exists but I’m sure in the future, it won’t feel so much like I’m just talking to a robot.

I follow a lot of subreddits focused on women’s rights or atleast with majority women participants, and it seems they often times can be outspoken against AI girlfriends, and for very legitimate reasons. I can totally see men getting away with abusing their AI girlfriend and therefore having a fucked up view on women as a whole, among other negative consequences.

I guess, if there was somehow a way to effectively deal with those kinds of things, whether that be through heavy moderation, restrictions, guidelines or whatever else, would you be OK with men having an AI girlfriend? Or would you still be against it?
