Nope, I’m kinda old and got into pickup when I was 18 or so, it was more down low back then. Now with dating apps and gender wars it’s just a different world. Those things don’t really exist anymore like they used to because the world isn’t the same as when those books were written

I'm gonna say, you probably don't want to be part of such a community. Neil Strauss actually spent a decent amount of time talking about how many weirdos were in that community, and he made it clear he wanted nothing to do with the majority of them.

Granted that was way back in the day, but just saying. Your best bet is roping some of your IRL friends into it. I convinced a buddy of mine who is tall and good looking to come out with me and we've had women approach us lol.

Ahh the early 2000s, late 90s was the golden era of seduction, but I have news for you, beautiful women will always exist! So it's up to you to make the best of your situation. Everything has become commercial, everyone who knows the "game" makes a product to sell.

Just take a look at this sub and see how many "natural players" are here having a philosophy opposite the reality that a beginner gain ZERO value. However the dream of becoming a "big, handsome natural player" is big and this is what people are looking for, that's why you'll hear: "you don't need to learn anything, be yourself bro, be real, improve yourself". Where is the "game"? There is no "game" in this philosophy.

When this happens, the tricks/tactics/structures/gambits disappear, everyone who knows them keeps them to themselves, there is no need for a community to share these things, you say a gambit/routine and 100 other people say "nooo, you need to be genuine/natural/honest... no tricks", so no need for a seduction community just old forums skilledseducer.com or girlschase.com but the natural players invade these place and many advices are just crap, fluff talk.

The answer is not really. I've been in the community for a long time now and most of the old boards were taken down for a variety of reasons. Everything in the community slowly drifted to the right which creates image issues for wider society. That's a whole different conversation. But the reality is that the topics being discussed are controversial and people don't want to be too closely linked to them. Hence all the nicknames and anonymity. The best players out there got good and just left the community.

Just remember whilst the community can help, you can delegate the responsibility. No one else can approach for you and it's no one else's fault if you're not successful. Own the process.

I'd actually stay away from most of the boards anyway because they ended up being filled with toxic material. In reality it just fucks with your vibe as the negative voices tend to shout the loudest.

I used to go to clubs/bars on my own, still do occasionally. A lot of the time I'll bump into another lad who is doing the same. Our conversation goes something like:

Small talk

Me: So are you on the pull tonight?

Him: Yeah/ If something happens it happens.

Me: Well if you need a wigman I got you.

Him: Appreciate it man, I'll do the same.

Obviously this is not how all the interactions will play out, but if your night goes well, you'll exchange IGs and hit each other up if you're planning to go out and tear up the streets.

I have seen some meetup groups dedicated to it but never attended. Girls definitely respond to some of the things they used to but peacocking and game changes with every generation. Having some regular decent looking women friends is really helpful because you will find out really quickly what they complain the loudest about is usually what is turning them on or it's adjacent to it. Girls that love men that ride motorcycles often complain loudly about how much they hate motorcycles.

That style of pick up evolved. It’s around but mostly when it starts and they pick up material and read the fine print of what works and what doesn’t, you’ll find yourself doing what the masters do. Have fantasy stories ready to tell a lady of how great you are, see if she bites the hook, reel it in, bring her home and seal the deal. Has a solid 85% rate of success. And out of the all the baloney they try to sell, all masters getting laid every week and are turning down 10s cause they got over drama have the same process on lockdown. They just know to evolve it better then the next man or get married and are out of the game.
