On the last 1st date -brush teeth( have gum, floss, travel toothpaste and brush in car or purse) style hair Have perfume in car or purse Date makeup Date underwear shave Wipes - eat dinner very early(2pm) - after date snack prepped - clean car, clean room, clean house - practice what I want to say, ( would have memorized what I wanted to say be the time the date comes)

We have a deal with my sistet that if either one goes on date, they send the first and last name of the person theyre with and whete theyre going. We usually check if the person has some presence in social media, to be sure thats his real name.

I’m trying to remember what I did when my husband and I started.

• ⁠Brushed my teeth.

• ⁠Washed my hair, dried them, spent hours brushing them because I had them long back then and made some braids. - Didn’t start dressing because I wasn’t sure whether he would call me or not. It was my first ever date, and I was nervous that he’d ditch me.
- Got a call from his saying that he was already heading out. Panicked.
- Forgot to eat.
- Looked at my wardrobe, realized I cannot wear a skirt or dress when it was -30C outside. Wore jeans and my favorite shirt.
- Failed to find my only lipstick.
- Used the only perfume I had.
- Told my friend I was going on a date, showed her his social media page, told her where we were going and after how much time she should call to check on me if I didn’t text her myself.
- Panicked some more. - Got my backpack with my purse and stuff. - Headed out thinking about what we could talk about and whether he’d try to kiss me (he didn’t, we didn’t kiss till the end of the second week).

I don't think I've ever had one specifically for dates. Just the usual "do all this before you leave the house" stuff: shower, shave if needed, teeth, skincare, haircare, makeup, get dressed.
