A lot of men dislike "their" women dating outside their race. When I lived in Korea, many Korean men were pressed about Korean women dating white guys, but those same dudes praised the white women who were dating Korean men.

When I was in my twenties, my white ex found out by looking at pics at my friend's house that I dated an Asian guy in high school. He was going on and on about how great it was that I "grew out that phase" and learned to like "real men" instead of being a "black weeaboo", cuz that's the worst kind dontchaknow! This was still early in the relationship and I was so caught off guard and embarrassed by his behavior in front of my friends I decided to play it dumb and embarrass him right back by pointing out that actually the Asian guy was literally a super-Chad; he was one of the most popular guys in our school, captain of the basketball team, was a wrestler, took up boxing and excelled at it, and even learned a few songs on the guitar.

My friends got excited and started pulling out more pics of him being awesome at various "manly" activities and telling stories that really illustrated his personality (super confident, over-achiever, and honestly a bit of a bully to "nerdy" guys) and how different he was to my bf, a nerdy computer science major whose only hobby was video games. They went at him so hard with this indirect roast that I had to be the one to stop it by asking him to go outside with me for a smoke when I thought he was so ashamed he might cry. At the time, I felt bad for fighting fire with fire and letting my friends tear him down so hard, but now I'm like, if you can't take it, don't dish it out.

My ex (who looked and identified as white but had indigenous ancestry too), was really racist in a very unspoken way, and so were his friends. we once broke up for two weeks and apparently after we got back together he told his friend that I had “fucked a black guy”. 1. I had not fucked anybody and 2. There was absolutely no reason rather than racism to also make up the imaginary guy’s race. On top of all of this... I am not white.

I’m not white or black and one of my supervisors who is a black guy keeps pressing me to get into a relationship with a black man only. Every time he shows up, he has to say something about his skin color. I don’t understand why men are so obsessed over what race a woman dates.

Black men treat black women poorly but that is only because they have worked serious mind control and trauma bonding to keep black women loyal. MANY black women are branching out and let's just say I have zero problems getting attention from all other races of men ,courted, relationships etc and black men HATE IT. I had a throwaway and made some post that I don't like dating a white man and I'm currently married to a very nice Asian man (I'm Asian myself). My reason is I feel more comfortable in dating a man raised in a similar culture and values as me. Without the risks of being fetishized. A relative of mine is attracted to women of all races, but is soooooooooo bothered by his ex (they broke up in the 90s) dating a black guy now. Like, he brings it up whenever he can, especially when he drinks. It's embarrassing and he truly has no self awareness.

But it seems to transcend race and culture. I've seen men of all colors lust after women of different races but how dare "their" women date outside the race? It is unbelievably entitled.
