I dated a guy for a month whom was dying to lock me in. (spoiler: he was nuts) and I learned real quick in that month that he was not in fact handling his hygiene.

I dumped him. 🤗. It was crazy cause I told him "no its OK, take a shower first, no babe brush your teeth first"

I dead ass would not kiss or fuck him till he did. The fact that I had to instruct him or point it out was like a "Oh hell fuck no" flag for me.

Yep, I got out of there so fast. Lmao he had the audacity to tell me THAT I dumped him because my family didn't like him.. What?

I told him "No hunny, I dumped you because I ended up not liking you, and it's cause of all these reasons."

I straight up told him the truth.. And his ass got so pissed but the next day he was try to win me back.. He tried the friend card and then try adding me on all my social media's and I ended up having to block his crusty ass. Wild thing is in his pics and stuff he look handsome and nice... Pretty boy even.. And this mofo was a dirty freaking guy. 🤮

Omg. The whole "bad teeth and breath are due to genetics" was what my ex husband and his stupid family would always say for why they all had terrible oral care habits. Eventually I found out my ex's mom had a fear of the dentist which she passed down to her kids by telling them horror stories of root canals gone wrong etc and just never taking them to the dentist or orthodontist. I would literally drag him to the dentist and hold his hand at his big age. He had to get anesthesia just to get a regular cleaning done. He had gum disease in the highest stage all because he wouldn't take care of himself.

Also my ex. Except he was a 17 y/o so I gave him benefit of the doubt. That was until he told me Why. Soooo apparently he use to get bullied about his hygiene in HS, where the other kids would tease him and put deodorant in his bag when he wasn’t looking. All I could think was ‘yeah kids can be cruel but surely that story would make you wash MORE not less’. It got to the point where I use to tell his mother on him because with holding sex was getting me nowhere. Point of the story boys will tell whatever bs they want if they think it will get them out of doing the most basic life things.

My ex (who had such a nice personality but I assume had been babied growing up) wasn't great at looking after himself and his dental hygiene was terrible. I used to pick just one or two things to "nag" about because I didn't want to feel like his mother, and his teeth were one of them. He actually had lovely teeth (somehow) but it used to cringe me out thinking about the damage he was doing to himself when he kept not brushing them. I made him leave a toothbrush at my place so he would brush when he was over - initially he just went without - and on one memorable night I recall he tried to go to bed without brushing, IMMEDIATELY after drinking a can of coke, so I had to have a firm word about it. Thinking about all the sugar on his teeth overnight was so disturbing.

And yes, like other men described here ... he claimed his teeth were "brittle".
